A 3d model which I try to get finished. It's not based on my own concept as it is meant to become a part of a game mod maintained by Kelskora on DeviantArt.
Here, I'm doing the step of retopologizing, which means I build a less heavyweight version of a model that has a lot of details like scales, wrinkles and spines. So this means you have to establish some topology for the low poly model to follow the contours of the sculpted mesh. Since I do not have 3D Coat or a similar software at my hand, I have to do this by hand which is at times quite tedious and it takes long for me to finish a model. Due to having to do that step, I don't make many models or spend more time with creating 3D art, which would expand my knowledge in that medium. And when it comes to 3D related things, I use Blender for creating the models, to set up the scenes and for rendering of course.
