Remember that huge haul of furniture I showed you a couple of weeks ago? This desk was part of that. I got this beautiful mahogany secretary for Jim for his birthday. We have looked for three years for one that was authentically old and charming and didn’t cost what the house did. This is 1800’s but I’m unable to date exactly when during that 100 year span. If anyone knows, please feel free to comment! All I have done is give it a coat of hemp oil as a refresh. No paint for this one! And please swipe through the pictures and take a look at those itty bitty dove tails in the itty bitty drawers. Talk about craftsmanship!😍
Available 💎 French style cabinet refinished in my favourite pastel Louis blue. Highlighted and dry brushed with old white and finished with white wax. Perfect for any room in your home ☺️ After a busy morning delivering and collecting commission pieces I’m squeezing in a cuppa before collecting the kiddies! It never ends! 😴😁
It’s been awhile, but the days have been flying by and it’s been crazy busy. Big events, colds, family get togethers, my oldest daughter turning THREE, my husband getting new work hours - lots of adjusting especially cold, warm, a little sun, and humidity (in which paint and stain do not like). But here’s to a jelly cabinet (current one of 3 projects going) that why would you paint this bright lacquer red?????? We strip, scrap, strip, scrap, sand, sand, sand, sander break 🤦♀️, get a new sander, hate new sander, throw across the garage, hand sand. But there is beauty in this old wood!!! Can not wait to show you the finished project. #jkpaintandstaindesigns#restoredfurniture#barnfind
We are on a roll with signs. Just finished this one. Sure wish I had more of those metal leaves, but that’s it. The wood is the burnt wood technique. This one will be available in our vendor booth at Three Sisters - Stanton, MO Overpass on Saturday, October 20, 2018. If in the area you really should stop in!
I showed you the gold leaf glass we made during one of our workshops during @amakersstudio launch. Learning to use gold leaf was so much fun and much easier than I thought it would be. HAve to make a trip to the dollar store for more $1wine glasses to make a set. Grab your choice of 2 gilding leafs in either gold, silver, copper or variegated when you purchase Gilding Size ~ that's the glue~like product you need to make your leaf stick. You'll love the sparkling finishes you can create for crafts, furniture, frames, mirrors. Promotion through October 20th. Don't delay. Link to shopping is in my profile. Questions? Send me a message. ⬆️ 🍁 💛 🥂

Take a look at this gorgeous new piece we have available! 😲😍 This beautiful vintage oak dressing table has stood the test of time and remains not just a greatly functional piece of furniture but also one that is a delight to look at.
With two half and two full-width drawers this splendid piece offers plenty of storage space and two small drawers in the top section provide a place for makeup and jewellery.
Its most striking feature without a doubt is the magnificent mirror with its wonderful barley twist pillars.

The interior decoration of our two houses follow the typical Tuscan style added with our influence from Milan. In our house indeed there are a lot of our family furniture, but we also like to reuse and restore old objects that people throw away.
This is a detail in Stalletta home. We found this chairs into the street in Milan, waiting to be moved to the dump, but we gave them a new life! Aren't they lovely there?
