Before and After, swipe to see the Before. Beautiful delicate vintage setting in platinum. The ring had been damaged on the bottom as often happens after many years of wear. It is a good idea to bring your ring to a professional to check the settings, we recommend every year.
Hobbies like golf and weight lifting often impact the metal causing fatigue then damage, as accidental run ins with doors and drawers can too.
This ring had lost a piece, which we replaced, and then we gave it the spa treatment, thoroughly cleaning and re-polishing, to make it all shiny and new again! .
Got these two wrenches at a garage sale yesterday for 25 cents. They were in bad shape, heavy rust and rusted stuck in place. Well a bottle of Coke, some cutting grease and an old tooth brush and they are good as new. I wiped them down with some machining oil to keep them rerusting #diamondsintherough#restored#americanforged#cleaningwithcoke
Finally got Betty our camper all painted and into the woods. Turned out good. Still need to do a lot of other little things but getting close. It used to be black with red strip and peeling all over. Had a good trip with the fam and the in laws. #colorado#camping#vintagecamper#restored#rockymountains
Frauenkirche Dresden. Beautiful Lutheran church, previously a Roman Catholic church, was destroyed during the ww2 bombings, left as ruins for many years before being reconstructed in 2005. Entry is free but you can pay 8 euros to climb to the observation deck, which provide magnificent views of the city.
Sunday this week was for organizing the @wallcontrol wall and restoring a @officialstanleytools block plane I got at the North Guilford Church fair tool sale. Got the plane working beautifully and am very lucky to be the new owner. I added two magnets to my @wallcontrol wall to hold the plane in place and to keep it off the bench. Also found a cool S&B Co Boston ruler and two brass and wood levels. Love that everything was Made in America.
As I sit here after a couple of weeks holiday - knee deep in washing, but feeling refreshed and restored with pockets full of sand and a jar full of sticks, stones and other “treasures” collected by my boys, I’m tempted to start planning for the academic year ahead; work goals, personal ambitions, plans for home and family all compete for space in my mind now that the time away has created space 🌿...I like structure and I enjoy planning, but I’m also increasingly aware that I need to balance it out with the aspects of my holiday that have left me feeling restored and allowed that mental space and clarity to develop. I may not be able to swim every day, but I’d like to incorporate it more into my week, I may not always have the time to admire every stone my 5 year old finds, but I would like to leave enough margin in my day to examine some of them with him! 💚What have you experienced on holiday that you’d like to bring in to your every day reality? 🐚
I needed God to heal me from my past. I couldn't move beyond the hurt from my past until I received and experienced the love of God and allowed Him to turn it all around. Before you can move beyond your pain and learn to love and forgive others, you have to experience God's love.
When dealing with your past, remember that God loves you deeply. The Bible says that we are only complete when we experience the love of Christ, which is so great you could never fully understand it. As you receive His love, healing will begin in your heart and you will be made complete with the fullness of His life.
And here I am, a completely different person. #restored#godslove#savedbygrace#womanofchrist
