A Yoga & Pilates Day Retreat in Manchester on
Saturday 24th November ~
Our day will begin with a healthy green smoothie on arrival and a chance to meet your teachers and fellow retreatees.
In the first session of the morning we will stretch, strengthen and energise through a graceful sequence of asanas ( yoga postures) in a Vinyasa Flow Yoga class, with Rachel.
After a short break, enjoy a Pilates session with Alexis to help improve posture, ease back pain and target deep internal muscles. Pilates will be followed with a nutritious delicious plant based lunch and some chill and chat time in the relaxing surroundings of our stylish, cosy and super slick venue, Victoria Warehouse. The final session of the day will consist of relaxing Restorative Yoga & Meditation with Rachel, to leave you feeling super zen🙏🏻🕉🧘🏻♀️💕
Classes will cater for all levels as there will be plenty of alternatives and adaptions on offer to suit each individual.
We aim for you to leave this day of ‘you time’ with more confidence and knowledge in your practice, relaxed energised and connected in body/mind/soul also warm and content from being surrounded in lovely like minded people in a safe and welcoming environment. ~

When I was a kid, I would pull all the cushions and duvets and blankets in the house onto my bed and make myself a nest to snuggle into. Like a tiny, chubby cheeked, baby bird. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Restorative yoga can feel like this sometimes. Pulling out all the props you need to create a space of softness, quiet and support for yourself. It feels like a massive act of self care (for want of a slightly less overused word) to slow down, cosy up and breathe

Some gentle liver detoxing floor yoga because our family Christmas dinner was last night & I'm guessing I'm not the only one on Insta who drank too many glasses of #redwine (for the antioxidants of course!) And Yes. I am hiding away in my dark room until the kids find me 😂 #hangover#hangovercure
