This is part of my new SOCKS ONLY bodyweight workout routine I am putting together. It’s like a yoga-Pilates-gymnastics-breakdancing-HIIT hybrid format. The entire time we use socks to challenge stability, much like using gliders or a TRX, except here you can pivot, flip, even spin your entire body in all directions without the restraint of equipment getting tangled or flying across the room. One of the reasons I started training in socks was to restore my ankle strength and stability, while gaining better mobility. With socks you don’t have to just use the bottom of your feet, but rather you build strength all directions. I quickly realized that in doing so, my entire body began to reap similar benefits: hip, knee, and shoulder joints also get challenged in new directions, making this almost a restorative workout, and helps increase your ROM of many movements injury free. Here you see hollow body plank, pike, supported L-sit, and reverse plank done as one fluid movement. Although your mind tells you, you won’t fall because the gaps aren’t big enough, the fear is still there. There will be always be fear. But there will always be a choice of overcoming it Little by Little.
We need to feel safe, but we won’t always feel safe.
It’s ok to be afraid here and there. Don’t let it stop you though! If you’re not risking your life or someone’s, if your motivation is pure and clear, go for it!
I hung with two of my dearest friends last night. We have been friends since we were in 7th grade. We talked, drank, talked, ate great food, talked, drank a little more. It is our therapy. It is our refuge. It is communion of friends that know each other's world.
Thai fire noodles, that is what I call them. Lemongrass, chili, coconut milk with lots of herbs tossed with rice noodles, lime and vegetables. It's spicy, it's total comfort, while it makes you sit up and pay attention.

I always imagine #monarchbutterfly migrations(#grievechronic research, #farandwidelol ). There are Some that do that trek once, then Die. &even those are magnificent when you really Get the migratory path(triple #ironman races every day)...Others? Make that run for Like 8+yrs. #noSeriously . & I imagine the other side of what I see in them- how they rejoice over the gardens that they remember SEE them as royalty & plant nettles for them... You've seen nothing until you've seen a butterfly crash into a garden for joy, like he remembers the sanctuary and is rejoicing it's still there, the meetups with others they may Only see during that migration... My friend @thestudio61 in #sedona showed me that #hummingbirds do something similar...& I used to sit in her garden stunned by them...They're were locals & gypsies...&it was as tribal &we tend to get on occasions.

#Gingivectomy is a #procedure for removal of gingiva, it's indicated in:
-Elimination of suprabony #periodontal abscess.
-Elimination of #gingival#enlargement (ex. after orthodontic treatment).
-Treatment of #gummy smile.
-To expose additional clinical #crown to gain added retention for #restorative purposes (i.e functional crown lengthening) and to provide access to subgingival #caries (ex. Subgingival class V or deep class II)
-The presence of #furcation involvement (without associated bone defects) where there is a wide zone of attached gingiva.
Though gingivectomy is a relatively simple procedure, there is little awareness about how it's properly done to avoid complications (ex. black triangles), the incisions used whether conventional or reverse bevel and when to suture.

Restore and Revive Yoga is an hour long session which begins with restorative yoga and ends with a relaxing and reviving meditation practice. During the first half hour, the focus is on lengthening muscles and increasing fluidity of fascia through longer holds of yoga asanas. The second portion of class is spent delving into a peaceful meditation practice using the breath as a guide to calm the mind and revive the cells.⠀

As I get older (and a tad bit wiser) I’ve learned to listen to my body. I can tell my neck is on the verge of locking up and my back is a mess so I will seek out restorative classes this week and modify in power classes. It’s so freeing to be in a place where my ego takes a backseat and to meet my body exactly where it’s at today.
So looking forward to starting this today! I’ve had a few days off insta and enjoyed the little break ☺️

Dive deep into your practice with this meditative afternoon of deep stretching, stillness, & exploration. First, we'll work with tight connective tissues - the fascia of the body - centering on the neck & shoulders, spine, hamstrings, and hips. In this floor-based Yin Yoga practice, each pose is held for a few minutes to find an appropriate "edge". Then we'll shift to create a restful sanctuary, utilizing additional props to support healing and complete release. Help stress and tension dissolve away. Leave rejuvenated and renewed.
