Amazing effort by @nectarelectrical with the assistance of @jacobralph , they managed to get the main power feed connected, all the outside lights installed plus lots of other electrical amazement- well impressed, it’s all starting to come together 😍
ISO 1949 Chevy pickup truck for restoration project with my girls. Want something that we can learn engine building, interior restoration, body work and paint. Anyone have one of these sitting in the tall grass behind their garage?
We are also going to need to interview people that have done this sort of thing.
Today’s project: GET THIS BUS TO RUN! But first, I got to play archaeologist this morning, unearthing the existing batteries from their tomb of rust and dust. The battery tray is so rusted, it will ultimately need to be replaced but a solid scrubbing will have to do for now. Today, this bus will run! 🔧🚌🔑
Some much needed Pedro restoration therapy this afternoon 😍
Frame now completely hammerited.
Exhaust heat shield bbq painted...drips and all.
Tank nearly back to bare metal...won't bother fillering.
Yep, it's going to be exactly the same as my first resto 😂😂😂
If you're wondering why I'm not doing the greatest job, check my story 😁
And if anyone works for Kawasaki / knows about VIN numbers / knows about KE100s and can help .... pls dm me 😘
I’ve been MIA because there’s not much to post but #demo . The 2nd floor is getting put back together over the next few weeks, so stay tuned! Can’t wait to share some of the finishes. Meanwhile I’ll just be bagging up this mess 👆💪
Front end and hitch restoration is looking good! I’m going to rubberize the handle and continue working on restoring the propane tank holder. While these parts were in rough shape before it seems a little grinding, sanding, rust neutralizing, and paint is all it takes to bring these parts back to life. #restorationproject
