It is true that Jesus Christ is with us in our temptations, but are we going with Him in His temptations? Many of us cease to go with Jesus from the moment we have an experience of what He can do. Watch when God shifts your circumstances, and see whether you are going with Jesus, or siding with the world, the flesh and the devil. We wear His badge, but are we going with Him? "From that time many of His disciples went back, and walked no more with him." The Temptations of Jesus continued throughout His Earthly life, and they will continue throughout the life of the Son of God in us. Are we going with Jesus and the life we are living now? We have the idea that we ought to shield ourselves from some of the things God brings round us. Never! God engineers circumstances, and whatever they may be like we have to see that we face them while abiding continually with Him in His temptations. They are His temptations, not temptations to us, but temptations to the life of the Son of God in us. The honour of Jesus Christ is at stake in your bodily life. Are you remaining loyal to the Son of God and the things which beset His life in you? Do you continue to go with Jesus? The way lies through Gethsemane, through the city gate, outside the camp; the way lies alone, and the way lies until there is no trace of a footstep left, only the voice, "follow Me." -Oswald Chanbers-
People nowadays are so passive, ignoring everything in the world and keeping their heads down. Though they see the truth, they don't act upon it. This is part of the Ahab spirit. He is very passive and tolerates any and all things. Ahab is destructive; quiet, yet wicked in his ruling; often effeminate. This is arising in our generation, along with the Jezebel spirit of usurping authorities, damaging the home, cowardice men with ungodly superiority, and the list goes on. Be aware of these spirits and do not mingle with them! Touch not the unclean spirits! God bless.
🔥And Ahab made a grove; and Ahab did more to provoke the LORD God of Israel to anger than all the kings of Israel that were before him. 1 Kings 16:33🔥
🔥But there was none like unto Ahab, which did sell himself to work wickedness in the sight of the LORD, whom Jezebel his wife stirred up.
And he did very abominably in following idols, according to all things as did the Amorites, whom the LORD cast out before the children of Israel. 1 Kings 21:25-26🔥
🔥And thou shalt smite the house of Ahab thy master, that I may avenge the blood of my servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of the LORD, at the hand of Jezebel.
2 Kings 9:7🔥
🔥And it came to pass, when Joram saw Jehu, that he said, Is it peace, Jehu? And he answered, What peace, so long as the whoredoms of thy mother Jezebel and her witchcrafts are so many? 2 Kings 9:22🔥
When the Spotlight Exposes Your Sin
Today's Reading: Psalm 38
Psalm 38:21-22 (ESV) "Do not forsake me, O LORD! O my God, be not far from me! Make haste to help me, O LORD, my salvation!" After the spotlight is turned to David's moral failure in Psalm 38, he experiences physical and spiritual anguish while enduring discipline from the Lord. Abandoned by his loved ones and taunted by his enemies, David repents for his sin and pleads for God to hurry and intervene in his situation.
He acknowledges that his spiritual distress and sickness are the disciplinary consequences of his sin. (Psalm 38:3, 5) God has pierced David with His arrows of conviction, and David is "feeble and crushed" with his heart in tumult (Psalm 38:8). God's rebuke also inflicts David physically. (Psalm 38:3) It's important to note that not every malady is a consequence of sin, but we too may experience sin-prompted sickness. (John 5:14; 1 Corinthians 11:30) These instances are meant to lead us to repentance.
David's spiritual and physical affliction is amplified by his loved ones' desertion and his enemies' threats. Those who should speak truth to David and encourage him have distanced themselves from him. Because David has slipped, his enemies rejoice and boast against him. (Psalm 38:16)
At the climax of his agony, David writes, "I am sorry for my sin" (Psalm 38:18). Then he pleads for God to draw near to him and intervene in his situation. (Psalm 38:21-22)
When left alone to endure God's correction, it can feel like God has forsaken us too.
One thing that will keep us from returning to God's life-giving presence is unrepentance. God lovingly causes us to experience unrest in our sin, but when we draw near to Him with a penitent heart, He closes the distance between us.
Like a loving father, God disciplines His children and reproves those He loves. Prayer: Lord, thank You that even when our hearts are hardened with sin, You pursue us with Your correction. When You shine a light on sin we think we've kept hidden, please give us tender hearts that respond with repentance and humility. In Jesus' name, amen. #repentance#sinexposed#comehome
We should mind how we conduct ourselves as children of GOD.
How we walk, talk, dress, act and think shows who we are and who we are realy serving.
If we are truly servants of the most high Jehovah God, we should do things that benefit his Kingdom and his people.Jesus thought about us when he was being crucified and that's how God's kingdom is, it's not about self love but selflessness, being a brother's keeper. God's kingdom is at hand,no one knows the day or the hour, so lets keep watch and do his will.
Good morning and Happy Humpday! From today’s #first5 : Psalm 38:21-22 (ESV) "Do not forsake me, O LORD! O my God, be not far from me! Make haste to help me, O LORD, my salvation!" When left alone to endure God's correction, it can feel like God has forsaken us too. The truth is, sin entices us and lures us away from God. (James 1:14)
One thing that will keep us from returning to God's life-giving presence is unrepentance. God lovingly causes us to experience unrest in our sin, but when we draw near to Him with a penitent heart, He closes the distance between us. (James 4:6-9)
God places the spotlight on our sin — not to humiliate or embarrass us — but to show us how far we've wandered away from Him. Like a loving father, God disciplines His children and reproves those He loves. (Hebrews 12:6) Even in the midst of His correction, He is aware of our suffering and is concerned for our well-being. (Psalm 38:9)
Nineteenth-century theologian Charles Spurgeon once said, "Those who feel [God's] sin-killing shafts in this life, shall not be slain with His hot thunderbolts in the next world." Friends, when God exposes our sin, let's remember (and rejoice) that repentance is the path which leads us back to His life-giving presence and sustaining grace.
Prayer: Lord, thank You that even when our hearts are hardened with sin, You pursue us with Your correction. When You shine a light on sin we think we've kept hidden, please give us tender hearts that respond with repentance and humility. In Jesus' name, amen. “

Just #God and I
My soul cries for a deep #Fast
Everything is a wreck.
God seperated me for his attention,
and I'm so overwhelmed with what's on my plate, that I've been consuming the wrong things, intentionally, because of fear.
Fear of stepping out of my comfort zone,
Fear of greator responsibility,
And ignorantly, fear of answering my calling..afraid of the unknown, afraid of who I will have to leave behind, or what will need to be sacrificed.
He called me out to listen to #HIM , yet I've been afraid to listen.
Some of you may even have experienced that if you disobey or ignore, things will fall apart around you until you finally surrender and realize you can't do it without him.. Life is much better in his presence...
So I must do the needful...
Im freaking out over things that typically don't bother me,
Submitting to anxiety attacks, acting out of character,
And instead of fasting immediately, I've self sooth to numb the pressure. I've isolated myself from loved ones. I expected man to comfort me as only #God knows how.
I gotta step away for a few. I'm sure you understand💖
Our repentance must be done in every day of our lives.
So many things, whether our behaviour, thoughts, speech or character which is lacking or even does not reflect Christ; that we have to change ...

change according to what God wants; so our lives pleases God and according to God’s design.

Matthew 7:13-14 Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.
The devil is a very smart, methodical deceiver. There are a lot of things in the world look very good at times, things that seem right, that look fun even satisfying, or rewarding. But do you truly know if it's from the Lord or not? Are you growing closer to God, or being distracted so that you don't include God in all your decisions? I ask myself these questions everyday so that I stay on that narrow path. I'm not perfect, I have a sin nature, but I am a new creation in Christ. The holy Spirit convicts me and keeps me in line. I pray that you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior! There's only 2 paths, make sure you're on the right one! #Godfirst#jesusistheonlyway#theway#thetruth#thelife#jesussaves#eternallife#salvation#repentance#repent
I thank him who has given me strength, Christ Jesus our Lord, because he judged me faithful, appointing me to his service, though formerly I was a blasphemer, persecutor, and insolent opponent.
But I received mercy because I had acted ignorantly in unbelief, and the grace of our Lord overflowed for me with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost.
But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life. To the King of the ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.
