✨New Designer Alert✨⠀
Ever since she was young, @oneandonlypaper has been destined to design! From going door to door selling rolls of wrapping paper during her childhood to running her own stationary business now, Allison has always loved creating her own artwork to share.
Fast forward to 2018, and you can now shop Allison's hand painted, festive holiday designs on fabric, wallpaper, and giftwrap on Spoonflower! Head to our bio👆 to check out the oopaperco shop.
We have a pretty serious rewards system happening here at the moment (for many reasons! Behaviour reset, so that I can work, so the kids can do non-technology related activities!) and since Josie basically sits quietly and draws 70% of the time she was the first to choose a Big Reward. She asked for a craft activity. Which turned into me sewing her a new dress from a fabric of her choice. Which turned into one also for her doll (Swipe 👉🏻). She is beyond smitten with both...which makes it well-worth the 7 hours it took me to plan, draft, sew and fiddle with this pattern (only to SNAG the fabric on the final cover stitch of the bib...! AND to the next day discover that @violettefieldthreads has a very similar, very readily available pattern that I could’ve had someone sew for me 🤣 🤦🏼♀️ The Cosette Dress. I’m a fool.). Anyway. SHE LOVES HER DRESS and was so grateful I sewed “all day” so let’s ignore these tiny details. It was worth it (she says, convincing herself) 🤣
Hi all! I figured even though I've been absent from this account for a while, I'd take a look at my top 9 for the year and I'm so happy with all the things I've created. Of course the lovely Nova (@elsielarson ) is number one ❤️ Going into the new year, one of my goals is to begin creating more again and using this account to share the process. Thanks to you all for liking my posts & sticking around this year, here's to 2019 and heading in a new direction. •
