Sitting level while loading not only gives the machine better balance and stability but it will also increase swing cycle time.
In this picture I took yesterday you can see that the 87 ton excavator isn't sitting perfectly level; it's sloped towards the truck just a little.
Besides the obvious balance being thrown off, what this does is causes more swing momentum when swinging towards the truck with a full bucket. Sure this will increase the swing speed in that direction but it also causes more strain on the swing brake and the extra momentum will have to be compensated for..swinging with a bucket this size is already hard to slow down.. Any extra time you think you just saved you actually lost waiting for the swing brake to slow down the swing.
When swinging back to get another bucket it will be slightly swinging up hill due to the angle which its tracks are sitting. (Angle of tracks = angle of the entire machine.) Meaning the swing motors will have to work harder at the upward angle and will take longer to swing to the same desired stop point.
Sitting level not only creates consistent more controlable swing movements, but also lets the operator cut level, gives consistent response through the controls, safer, And reduces the total cycle time even though it may be just a couple seconds of lost time with each bucket load..plus it will reduce unnecessary wear and tear on the swing gears.

• Never leave hoses attached to outdoor faucets in freezing temperatures
• If you are leaving on an extended trip, do NOT turn your heat completely off as this will cause pipes to freeze and burst
• Always provide contact information in case of an emergency. Include your HVAC contractor and a reputable plumber.
Don't forget to line up snow removal and de-icing services for multi-unit properties.
