“But you are to hold fast to the Lord your God...the Lord your God fights for you, just as he promised. So be very careful to love the Lord your God.” Joshua 23:8;11
How do we hold fast to the Lord? How do we remind ourselves of his faithfulness?
This is Joshua’s last words to those he has been leading into the promised land. He reminds them of God’s faithfulness and exhorts them to also remain faithful and grateful, to cling to God and not fall prey to false idols. “You know with all your heart and soul that not one of all the good promises the Lord your God gave you has failed. Every promise has been fulfilled; not one has failed.” Joshua 23:14
What will your last words be to your posterity? What legacy do you leave behind? As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.
For the last couple years I been in and out a job! I depleted my savings! Financially I hit rock bottom but not one time my lights got cut off, not one eviction notice, not one time did my car get repo! Somehow my sons got what they needed and had food to put in their mouth! I ask God for a job that was daytime where I can be at home with my sons and he gave me that but the job only paid $8hr so I got the hours but not the pay and I still struggled financially so when you pray be specific. So then I lost that job but I prayed for him to remove from that job but I wasn’t prepared for that either because they tried to defame my character but God anyway last Tuesday I had an interview in my field of study where I have almost 10 years of experience they ask what was my pay at the last job in my field of study I said $14.50hr they said okay later that same day they called me and said you got the job and we are going to pay you $19.50hr you will be working from 8:30-5 no weekends no holidays when can you start I said tomorrow if you need me to they said okay how about Monday I said okay! I said that to say remain faithful I know it’s hard but when you know who you belong to the devil in hell cannot stop what’s God has for you! #wcw#GodisGood#remainfaithful
The book of Jeremiah is full of dire warnings and stories of God’s people failing to listen. Not only do they fail to listen to God’s messenger, Jeremiah, but the leaders persecute him—they don’t want to hear warnings. (hmm, sounds similar to what happened with the leaders and Jesus...) 🍃 BUT — to those who listen, though they will go through uprooting and exile due to the sins of their leaders, if they remain faithful in the land of their exile, are promised a future “glory that far outweighs it all.” In chapter 31, God tells Jeremiah specifically, “Write this down” about the PROMISE of restoration and rest for the faithful people of God: “Tears of joy will stream down their faces, and I will lead them home with great care. They will walk beside quiet streams and on smooth paths where they will not stumble. For I am Israel’s father, and Ephraim is my oldest child.
Jeremiah 31:9 [Ephraim means,”God has caused me to be fruitful in the land of my affliction.”] #lifeishard#Godisgood#remainfaithful#beautyfromashes#strengthinweakness

Wow! massive miracle. Was coming back from Warrick teaching nursing students super tired so praying in the Holy Ghost about 3 hours so intense. Music so loud (of cause) l heard a massive crash l just kept driving then like in full slow motion this car crossed in front of me missing me by centimeters. I immediately thought someone was trying to commit suicide
Then l had to climb throught that muddy ditch knees high and take control of this rescue
These are the days of Glory, days of Flourishing and Days of Abounding! #RemainFaithful
God does not run out of time!
Even when Joshua was doing exactly what God told him to do and even though God would give him victory Joshua still had to deal with some stuff. Don’t second guess what God has called you to do just because you are faced with some challenges/battles. Keep your eyes on God, stay the course that he gave you. Be strong and courageous.... Joshua 10.
Women are planning sort of people. We plan meals🍴, outfits👗, births🤰🏼, engagements💍, weddings👰🏼, holiday decor🎄, grocery store visits🛒, date nights🍷, vacations🌴, and just about every detail in between💁🏼♀️. We research and analyze things to death🤓. And we’ve all had times our plans didn’t work out...right?
We thought we should be doing something else, be with someone else, or be someone else. But God had other plans. Our mistake is we compare our plan with God’s plan...right?
Think about •Mary• her plan was not to have a baby at that time in her life. But, it was Gods. He had a plan and it was FAR MORE than she could ever imagine.
His plans are best. Trust Him. 🖤
“Let us not get tired while doing what is, (right) for in due season we will reap if we do not grow weary (give up).” Galatians 6:9

I had an awesome time throwing down with @crossfitsweetwater at #superteam2018
We placed 7th out of 23 teams. Will be back to next year to podium.
Shout out to @teamwodnation for the belt! Kept the back solid through the countless buddy carries and clean and jerks.
I sought the Lord and He answered me; He delivered me from my fears Psalms 34:4
The righteous man may have MANY troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them ALL. Tonight, if you find yourself heavy laden with burdens that you're too weak to carry anymore. Jesus has a promise for you- The righteous cry out to the Lord and He hears you, He hears your heart, He sees your struggles, He knows the deep pains that nobody else can see. He knows your fears, He knows the wounds, He sees the darkness you've faced, He sees the battle that you're in. He knows your name, He's a father to the Fatherless, a healer of the broken. He makes beauty from the ashes. He knows your name. Lean into Him all you who are weak and heavy laden and I will give you rest.
