It's been a little while.
I still squat and such. Lost some strength in my squat, possibly from sporadic training and not following a program. Doesn't matter though because I'm still having fun 😀
Here's 285 x 3 after some 275 x 5.
If I can motivate even one person to head to the gym, that is what's important! 💪💪💪
•CrossFit• Vanavond was een pittige maar ook een leuke en afwisselende WOD. 1RM Small grip Axle Bar Bench Press + banded resistance 35KG.
9min AMRAP -27 Wall Balls 3KG + 9 Clean & Jerk 20KG (2 rounds +3) Finisher 50 triceps killers (naanm vd oefening ben ik even vergeten).
Woke up after 12,5 hours straight sleep after coming back to the hotel from the event site. Got this picture from the race at my second round were I was feeling good side by side with @passionate_about_ocr
But I knew I had to go in and readjust my prosthetic leg because it wasn’t on ok. And I had been struggling with a headache all morning and the first 1,5 lap out there! As I wrote before I never came out again ! Could I have done more laps ? Yes but my choice in dropping temperatures, were I personally thing that the race HQ should have closed all water obstacles due to danger for the racers ! I stayed in trued to stay warm in the tent and hoped to get back out in the morning.
I know I made the right decision now because of leg trouble with the knee joint on my prosthetic leg and my holster. Today I’m feeling the payback of a holster that is not a 100% fit ! I don’t know how it’s going to be to get the leg on later on! But pain is one word!
But one thing is for sure ... you learn from every experience you get 👊🏻 Big thanks to amazing @ulrikke_evensen for staying up all 24 hours and pep talk all of us here 🙏🏻👌🏻👊🏻

What’s stopping you? The only person that can hold you back from greatness is yourself. There’s no limit to life, as life is limitless and that it’s your choice to limit yourself or not.
No matter what’s going on inside, you have the ability to impact others with your struggles and how you work around them. These type of moments are a reminder that all of us are just people trying to do our best. That we all succeed basically the same way - by working hard, struggling, learning, and keeping at it with determination.
