It’s also about shoulder girdle stability, torso stability, rotational control, unilateral stability and in this case coronal/side plane challenge. 🌟🌺🌟

Short box abdominals series. Strap yourself in for a challenging exercise that will get those deep abdominals firing 💥
If you are hip flexor and quad dominant ( very common), this exercise can be tricky to find and maintain the abdominal connection. Start with a low number of reps and when you feel the abdominals fatigue and the quads/ hip flexors take over, have a rest and reset.
Plenty of variations to explore also with this one- flat back, round back, twist and sidebend. We like to mix things up to target those abs from all angles! What’s your favourite variation? 📷 Pinterest
