A large black Morph Manta Ray barrell rolls through the water.
Manta Rays display this acrobatic behaviour when the microscopic plankton that they feed on is abundant throughout the middle of the water column. This allows them to maximise the amount they consume over a short period of time.
It also provides an incredible display for all who are lucky enough to witness it!
I’m so happy to see my article about anemone fish published in the last number of the Spanish dive magazine @buceadores ! It’s an honor for me to be able to share my passion for the seas and all its creatures in such a great publication so hopefully there will be more to come.
This article is in Spanish, but I'm working in the English version for their bilingual English/Spanish online magazine @letsdivemag, they have already three numbers out and you can download them for free at www.letsdivemag.com so check them out!
Buceadores it’s only available in paper so if you happen to be in Spain, grab one at the closest kiosk and enjoy it between dives or at the beach with a cold drink and some tapas!
