Kids See Ghosts - Kids See Ghosts
I don’t think it’s very controversial to say that this was the best of the Wyoming records. What I find interesting is that the other 4 records have production from Kanye that harken back to what some might call “the old Kanye”. On KSG I find there is a much greater dynamic range in the production, Feel the Love has an almost Stravinsky-like aggression whereas the title track isn’t much more than a click track.
I would by no means call myself a big Cudi fan but I am coming around to him through this album. Having not been to attentive to Cudis work I think I was a lot more forgiving of projects like Speeding Bullet to Heaven than many people. I always felt like he was willing to go all out for a vision so even though this is a more conventional release for him, I think it makes for a great chemistry between him and Kanye.
Hopefully Kanye can reel himself in a bit from all this MAGA bullshit and drop Yandhi and bring about world peace. .
Television - Marquee Moon
Life in the hive puckered up my night / The kiss of death, the embrace of life / There I stand 'neath the Marquee Moon / Hestating.. Kick-ass blue reissue with a bonus disc with a couple of extra tracks and alternate takes.
I love this album to bits .. do you?
Mundo Feliz was the second album released by Mexican rock band Fobia in 1991. Contrary to their first album, the songs have more surreal lyrics and imagery, without losing the eclectic sound that made Fobia famous throughout Latin America.
Fobia - Mundo Feliz
Christine & The Queens - Chris.
Easily one of my favourite albums of the year and one my daughter & I dance around the house to regularly!
Very excited to see her perform her amazing stage show early next year in Melbourne - may need the French version of this as well.
Who hasn't this legend worked with? Drake, Solange, FKA Twigs, Kanye West - not to mention his frequent collaborations with SBTRKT.
Process was a long time coming and well worth the wait. 📸 : @stevensonsimon825
