Fall is in the air and I am loving it! I thought I would put a post together of fun and simple ideas to make your home feel more like Fall this year... Side note: have you noticed how great the Fall colors are this year. Super different than I have seen in the past, lots of exciting pastels along with the basic Fall colors like mustard and burnt orange. I think these combos are great together! New accent pillows and throws are one way to change things up and elevate your home with some Fall feels! Two different side decor pieces I love and you can never go wrong with are colorful vases and candles. Obviously there are candle scents for every season, but they really do spruce things up (and look pretty too)! A fun way to change up a bedroom are duvet covers. A cover that has warm colors or the pastels or a funky pattern will liven things up a little and make you feel like you are in a new season! And lastly, I feel like plants bring so much life into a home, I always go to the sale section in @anthropologie to find the cutest planters to put succulents in! How do you do Fall in your household?
Let’s talk RENTAL SCAMS!!! Rental scams are a big thing right now... and they are scary! People are seeing these amazing rental deals on Zillow and Craigslist of homes that are actually for SALE. These bad guys are using the real owners name and giving them a little bit of their lives history (your life is accessible to everyone on the internet) the bad guys will then tell you they have all the keys for the house in another state... (please tell me you see the red flags.) Anyways people are falling for this trap all the TIME, because when you see a house like this: 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 1232 SQFT one level ranch style home in Multnomah Village for rent of only $1,200 a month, who doesn’t want to jump on that as quick as possible. Don’t fall in this trap and do your due diligence before giving a stranger money on the internet!
With that being said, have you spoken with a lender? Do you know if you can get pre-approved? Or how much you can qualify for? A lot of people don’t realize what they qualify for or even if they have the ability to get pre-approved! My biggest advice is to talk to a lender! You might be surprised on the information they provide you. Wouldn’t you rather own this home in multnomah village for $417,500 instead of renting? Buying a home is the best invest you can make:) I have some great recommendations for a lender! Give me a call if you have any questions:)

I love this home so much, everything about it is stunning! There was so much thought and detail that went into the design of this home. Also, super cute story: when I was little my family use to go to church over in this area. And on the way home we would always ask my dad to take the backroads to check and see if the little old man in the “hobbit house” was playing music out the the instruments he made in his front yard. Well when I drove by this listing that I’m holding open today, I wanted to see if the little old man in the hobbit house was still around. And to my surprise, there he was sitting in his front yard playing instruments just like the old days! This area has so many happy memories. Now it’s time for a new owner to make some more memories!:)
