Another painting of Realistic Watercolour is done. Course by @blackchalkco @palettiquette . I’ve learned soooo much by this painting that’s insane! Enjoyed the whole process this time 😆 no frustration just joy :))
Who else is not near a sea or pool but thinking about it? 🙋🏻♀️ #currentmood#weekendvibes#coolingoff
Learned to paint this tropical water from @ekatearcher @skillshare 🎨🖌️ more waterpaintings are coming! 🌊
So, this is my second attempt at a realistic water droplet 💧 The first was.... well, absolute horror. It looked like an alien eyeball👽👁. This is a drastic improvement in comparison and for my second attempt, I am pretty proud of it. I decided not too long ago, that I would start to focus on learning things I always had an interest in, but never got around to. I stopped procrastinating that “someday” and changed it to “I owe myself this.” So, I started with #calligraphy almost 2 years ago, to running in a #RunDisney marathon weekend, to gardening, to evolving beauty routines, to now taking watercolor courses with @blackchalkco
If you’re a mom, you know very well how hard it is to make time for you and do what you enjoy or to learn new things, but I hope that you do something that feeds your soul, or that you make the time to learn something new! ✨💙 What is something you’ve always wanted to learn? Share with me in the comments!
I'm following this realistic water course from @blackchalkco and I love it! These water droplets are not difficult to paint, but the effect of using white and shadows is so cool 😍
I'm excited what's next! #palettiquette#30x30directwatercolor2018
More watercolour waterrr 💦 didn't plan on including a brush in the final photo but because it's painted in a circle, it just looks like a weird plumbus... soooo this is me trying to unsee that 😅 obvs not to scale. And not painted with that brush! 3/0 size Princeton was used.
If you have no idea what a plumbus is then please watch all 3 seasons of Rick and Morty and love it hard and then report back and be my best friend ✌
Realistic water droplets with watercolour 💦 thanks so much for all the thumbs up in my Stories! Here's another one I painted yesterday - with a better shadow I reckon 😜
I'm not normally one to sit down and paint something detailed and tiny for ages, I like fast and loose when it comes to art. But I found this really rewarding and I can't wait to turn this into part of next month's online class 🙌
What other types of realistic water would YOU like to see?
