Today’s simple liver cleansing and energising tonic.
Elimination organs rid the body of waste and toxins.
The liver and bowel have these functions.

KINOA ETA KALABAZA KROKETAK!ON EGIN!

#CROQUETAS DE #QUINOA Y CALABAZA
🔸Mezclar 1 taza de quinoa cocida con 1 taza de puré de calabaza (se puede hacer horneada o al vapor y se hace puré con un tenedor) y un salteado de cebollín, cebolla, puerro, pimentón y un diente de ajo, se integra todo y le agregamos sal, pimienta y orégano al gusto (todo debe estar a temperatura ambiente, ni frío ni caliente).
Formamos las croquetas con la mano y llevamos a una sartén engrasada con aceite de oliva y dejamos dorar y que tomen consistencia de un lado y luego del otro. Conviene cocinar a fuego medio para que no se quemen y queden más firmes😉.

👉se vertía la leche y la sal, y luego se batía hasta que la mezcla cortaba. De esta manera se separaba la grasa del suero.
La grasa es la manteca 😉.

Summer looks at me like this every morning waiting for me to drop something🐶 I hope you guys have a wonderful day😘
It is not pretty but it's super yummy! Basically I just rummaged through the fridge and dumped all the odds and ends in here- and it was so good! This salad had kale, carrots, purple cabbage and kelp noodles. The salad dressing is really simple - 1 tbs of Chinese black vinegar, 1 tbs of roasted sesame oil, 2 tbs of laoganma spicy chilli crisps and 1 tbs of rice malt syrup. Kale, like broccoli and cauliflower, is a cruciferous vegetable. These plants contain glucosinolates which are broken down into isothiocyanates and indole-3-carbinol after chewing, chopping, or cooking. These compounds help to protect the plant from environmental stress. There's some evidence to show that they help to prevent inflammation in the human body. Kale can be a bit tough when eaten raw - the trick is to use either an acidic dressing or a super creamy dressing to break it down a little. Do try it out!

Transformation Tuesday! The pic to the left, not my highest but ~ 223lbs! I recall it took a bit to snap this as we were trying to get the right angles 🙄 This was an embarrassing day for me. We were at a ‘resort’, that’s what it was called, in Haiti post Hurricane Matthew. It was one of the filthiest places I had ever been. Was to be a nice break from our mosquito netted bunk beds at the compound. ‘Fun in the Sun’! Tan and play and swim in the brown ocean!Everybody in swimsuits, well except me. I had bike shorts under these pants and even that humiliated me. I was using a cane to walk around. I was slow ~ often short of breath. Uneven ground and stairs where a challenge. I still wouldn’t find Keto for a few more months. When I did, it was a poor attempt at a low carb diet. Didn’t last long as I had to sort out a med. Then in October 2017, I got serious. Low carb, too much protein, probably too much fat. I joined IG which then led me to the science. It led me to an amazing group of like minded people. The IG Keto community. You!! This is when I started a near obsession with researching and educating myself in all things Keto, Paleo, Ancestral!! I absorbed every bit of sound information and science I could find. Videos, Podcasts, Web Sites, Documentary’s, Articles, Books ~ Leaders and Newbies and everything in between. I completely changed my Way of Eating. The pic on the right is last week. 68-69lbs gone. I began this WOE weight loss focused. Now I see it as a benefit to healing. The Ketogenic lifestyle has improved my life in so many ways. No cane, no inhalers, less pain, less meds, better mobility, brain clarity, and so much more. It has freed me from hunger and cravings. Today my weight bounces around between 155-158! I am no longer in the ‘obese’ category! I am no longer in the ‘overweight’ category’!! My clothes size is dependant on the brand. The scrub pants in the pic are a medium and the top is a small!What! 😆 oh and I’m down a shoe size!! I spent years yo-yo dieting, eating disorders and self loathing. A lot of negative behaviour and thoughts. My dysmorphia is still a thing. That’s hard to heal from. Keto is simple and clean real good. We can do this!!
Tuesdays are supposed to be for tacos, but this is NACHO ordinary Tuesday! The reason: this #wonderbowl of nachos. The salsa that I've been preparing for the past few months excludes cheese. However, this time's different because I finally have @buteislandfoods Vegan Mature Cheddar Cheese--I mean, Sheese! THE SIMPLEST SALSA
White onions, diced
Lemon or lime
Greek yoghurt (as a substitute for sour cream)
Add-ons: hot sauce, cayenne pepper, vegan sheese (mentioned above, but they have other kinds of sheese)
Mix the onions and tomatoes. Squeeze the lemon or lime. Sprinkle cilantro on top. Add Greek yoghurt as well as preferred spices and sheese. It's better to place The Simplest Salsa in a separate container if you plan to store it. You may also substitute nacho chips with banana or sweet potato chips (preferably baked and bare) #wanderlittlegirl
FIT CHEESECAKE ALLA VANIGLIA CON TOPPING AI MIRTILLI E BURRO D'ARACHIDI 🌻
Ho usato un coppa pasta di circa 11-12 cm di diametro 👌 per la base serve:
🔹 25 gr muesli di Crusca 🌾 io ho utilizzato gli sticks che potete tranquillamente trovare in un negozio biologico o in un supermercato molto fornito.
🔹 Un cucchiaino abbondante di burro d'arachidi 🔹 Un cucchiaino di olio di cocco 🥥 🔹 Un cucchiaino di stevia 🍃
Mescolo gli ingredienti e compatto il tutto. Ripongo in frigo e nel frattempo mi dedico alla preparazione della crema.
Utilizzo ➡ yogurt greco alla vaniglia 🌻ed un cucchiaino di amido di mais per addensare la crema🌽 mescolo l'amido con un poco d'acqua e inserisco allo yogurt. Aggiungo sopra la base di Crusca.
TOPPING 👉 marmellata di mirtilli 🍇 ulteriore burro d'arachidi 🥜
