Highlights from Cape Cod trip 2018: flights of my homemade kombucha (the fam jam couldn’t get enough!), delicious and healthy meals, an obligatory TJs stock-up (when are you coming up north, @traderjoes?!), and a video of my previously-mentioned first raw oyster experience.
We are on our way back to Ottawa now; missing the family, sights, and seafood already!
Trying @avivaromm 's natural ibuprofen for a sore shoulder today. I don't have a juicer so I used my @vitamix then strained: 2 (purple!!) carrots, 1 apple, 1 inch piece of ginger, 1/4 lemon with the peel(!), water, and some ice cubes. This is seriously delish and a gorgeous color! Hopefully it works 🤞

Dans mon assiette : pain grillé, mâche et roquette, avocat et un oeuf sur le plat.
Du jus de citron et graines de chia et de tournesol!

On Sunday’s, time goes by smoothly and I can indulge in creating new recipes and explore new tasty combinations, sipping on homemade kombucha cocktail 🍹
Here is a delicious result of today:)) Cauliflower pizza 🥦🍅🍕 Ingredients for the crust:
1 head cauliflower shredder
3-4 eggs beaten🥚
Italian spice blend 1 teaspoon
Garlic powder 1 teaspoon
Mix all the ingredients, heat the oven to 450F.
Prepare a pan, cover it with parchment paper and lay out evenly the mixture for the crust.
Gently form a circle.
Bake for 15-20 minutes-or until the crust becomes slightly brown.
Tomato 🍅 sauce:
4 ripe tomatoes, cut in cubes
3-4 garlic gloves minced
Onion cut in 1/2 circles
Combine all the ingredients in oiled sauce pan (I used avocado 🥑 oil), sautée for a couple of minutes, cover with a lip for another 4-5 minutes, remove from stove.

They are very variable and depend on what you have in a fridge or what you feel like eating, in this case it was:
Backed eggplant 🍆 circles
Backed portobello mushrooms 🍄 slices
Backed peppers 🌶 yellow, red, orange, green any color you prefer
Thingy sliced fresh tomato 🍅
Fresh parsley, 🌿 basil
When the crust is ready, add the sauce on top.
Cover with desired ingredients on top, heat for a couple of minutes in the oven and enjoy!

Palm of hearts pasta🌴
Sautéed onions-2-3 cups
1/2 cup fresh parsley
1/2 cup fresh basil 🌿
1 cup pine nuts🌲
1/4 cup cold pressed virgin olive oil
3 garlic gloves peeled
Salt&pepper to your taste
Nut cheese - optional
Start with onions. While they are cooking, combine fresh herbs, garlic, pine nuts, olive oil and salt and pepper in a blender and blend until smooth.
Combine pasta with pesto, onion sauce and cashew/almond fermented cheese, enjoy!
