WOW! If you didn’t just hear the @medicalmedium radio show on fasting PLEASE catch the replay!!! This is so important! We have so many trends and fads that we think are super helpful for us, that can actually be super harmful, even down the road!
I am so glad I just heard this episode I have been wondering about fasting for so long. So I was planning on doing a long juice fast (40 days or so) but after hearing this show and having done a 38 hour water fast in addition to this I am going to stop.
I want to be gentle on my liver. Anthony said that fasting can be like pushing a little kid off of the diving board. Even though I have been eating clean for a while, I don’t want to overload my liver with all of the toxins and dermatoxins still floating around in my system.
When we fast, a ton of poison can get released into our bloodstream all at once, and if we don’t have right information about fasting we can really over do it. If it’s too much, only a small amount of the toxins release from the body, the rest get reabsorbed by the liver that has to work 10x harder than it usually would.
Slow and steady wins the race! 🐢 Gentle cleansing is best - ESPECIALLY if you have major neurological & viral issues. You don’t want to jump into a fast right away, but over time you can work up to a point where you juice cleanse for a few days, or water fast for a maximum of 2 days.
Celery juice is crucial to prepare for any type of fasting (try to do it consistently for atleast 6 months-a few years) 🌱 Also it’s critical to have a lot of celery juice when breaking any type of fast. Dry fasting is NEVER recommended. It is extremely harmful to the body, especially the kidneys.

it’s simple but also highly customizable, depending on what you have on hand and the flavor/color you’re going for. this smoothie bowl does not taste “green” at all, it’s refreshingly sweet and oh so nourishing! sometimes simple is best with smoothie bowls because then you can add a whole bunch of toppings without worrying how they will affect the taste.
- 3 ripe bananas, sliced and frozen
- 1/2 ripe avocado
- 1/4 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1 scoop vanilla plant based vegan protein powder
- 1/2 teaspoon raw spirulina powder

- toasted/shredded coconut flakes - fresh fruit (berries, kiwi, mango, extra banana, and granola

21 days without sugar!
Today begins my new challenge - 21 days without sugar 🍭
Why did I decide to do this? I think for no one else the secret is that sugar is very harmful to our health. For example,
🍬 sugar causes a decrease in immunity, breaks the balance of mineral substances in the body
🍫causes the violation of mineral metabolism and absorption of calcium and magnesium
🍡promotes obesity, the development of dental caries and occurrence of other gum disease, such as periodontitis
🍧causes a violation of sensitivity to insulin, which can lead to diabetes and death
🍨causes premature aging and early appearance of wrinkles
The list of maladies can be continued indefinitely
But my main reason is dependence on sweet. I have a sweet-tooth and if I do not get a dose, then as a consequence I get a headache and a breakdown in my level of energy😕
So I think that I will pass this test successfully, after giving up coffee - to me nothing is impossible ☕️

Oh watermelon juice, you cleanse my SOUL ✨ Thank you Mother Earth for making melons exist... Summer is my favorite seasons because 1) the sun and 2) melons 🙌🏻 And all the other amazing, ripe, gentle, loving fruit! The marriage of cannabis and cacao is the most divine union of plant food I've come accross. Raw cacao alone induces a euphoric state and we all know what cannabis can do but together they create a state of consciousness that I can only describe as bliss...
I was playing around in the kitchen with whatever was at hand and created these raw cannabis truffles. I made the chocolate with the cacao I picked up at @ubudraw chocolate factory and spiked the truffle filling with some deliciously sweet CBD oil. (Thanks @jacobhabib 😘)
The truffle filling is one layer of pecan paste sweetened with medjool dates and the CBD oil. The bottom layer is Pepita, peanut and a little spirulina. They taste amazing especially straight from the freezer.. I'm feeling goood this morning 😄 ❤
