So far. Installed raspbian and tried installing manually juj’s ili9341 driver on github for the lcd freeplay tech uses. On top of that gotta instal the recalbox Mk arcade joystick to get input from the freeplay zero mobo. Manually didnt work. Next ill try dropping the files from the freeplay image in the root while raspbian pixel is installed. And see how that goes. It is possible to have pixel and retro pi at the same time. The issue is getting the freeplay to interface. Sigh.
WIP ... Anyone else make a magic mirror project? It's not that hard, but there are so many possibilities. So many modules ... So many ways to configure the mirror.
Planning to make this my Pi.hole/No-ip/MagicMirror device. It will keep my network fast & clean and let me access it remotely from anywhere and will give me status updates on all the things like weather, traffic, latest XKCD, calendar events, how many astronauts in space ... And so much more!
You can convey so many emotions with these seven segments and an RGB LED. I haven’t even started to play with the animations yet.

I redesigned and simplified the circuit that will track our fermentation temperatures on up to four separate vessels, and got some hook up wire and tools to make life easier and more manageable. Confirmed, as well, to be a parallel circuit, as best I can tell!
