It's still early in the NBA season. All of the teams are still working hard to establish their identity. Who do they want to be as a team and how will they play the game? Some teams have decided that the path to success and to the playoffs begins on the defensive end of the court. These teams are letting their strong defense lead to fast breaks and other success on the court without having to play a flashy game. Defense is a necessary part of the game. Teams that don't focus on defense will struggle to have a winning season. As an aspiring basketball player YOU have to always work to be a good two-way player. Every player isn't going to be a defensive expert and stopper. But every player can put effort into being a good defender, disrupting the other team's offense and making their players work as hard as possible to execute their offense. It's unacceptable to rest of defense and save your energy for when your team has the ball. If YOU are getting tired in your games get up before school and run at the track to build your stamina. YOU need endurance to play the game of basketball and to be a good defender. If YOU aspire to be considered a great player get your body in the best shape possible, learn as much as YOU can about the game of basketball and always put as much effort into your defense as YOU put into your offense. TRAIN your MIND and body to PERFORM! #improvepractice#basketballneverstops#ballislife#basketball#nbabasketball#nba#blockedshot#kawhileonard#sergeibaka#torontoraptors#raptors#raptorsnation#wethenorth#dannygreen#kylelowry#jonasvalanciunas#dunk#bball#basketballplayer#basketballislife#basketballcoach#baloncesto#basketballfundamentals
