When it's cold and you're Hungry, what's your go-to comfort food? Mine is a nice Hot ramen! 🍜 -
I was shocked how cold it got already in Banff. It felt like winter at times already, going below 0 and snowing heavily. 🌨 Definitely craved for ramen.
We were surprised to find @RamenArashiBanff, a ramen joint from Japan. Note though, the noodles aren't homemade. Ingredients seems to have been pre-cooked mostly, just assembled and heated on order since our ramen came out pretty fast after we ordered. It's still satisying in the cold day though! 😊
🍽 Signature Menu Tonkotsu Ramen ($12.95) - flavoured with tonkotsu based pork belly chasu, red ginger, takane, garlic, green onion

#Foodtrip yesterday with sister @ippudoph Vertis North! .
The tantanmen was creamy and spicy! The distinct spicy flavor and the creaminess of the broth balances my sister's palate! The spiciness is not overpowering. Rate: 9/10!
The next one was my ultimate favorite at Ippudo, the Yokohama Iekei! If you like chicken and pork, then this ramen is for you! The broth has 2 flavors the creamy paitan and thick tonkotsu. What I like about it is that you can taste both! 💞 Rate: 10/10
Steak or ramen? Why decide? Both!
