If you make human company too important
you will not discover your true Self.
Relationships not based in Truth
are never entirely reliable
and are rarely enduring.
Taking time to discover yourself is the best use of time.
One should not excessively seek partners or friends,
one should seek to know and be oneself.
As you begin to awaken to the Truth,
you start noticing how well life flows by itself
and how well you are cared for.
Life supports the physical, emotional,
mental and spiritual needs of the one
who is open to self-discovery.
Trust opens your eyes to the recognition of this.
Surrender allows you to merge in your own eternal being.
Every moment is interconnected. Every thought leads to every feeling and to the next thought... And thus, the emotional vibration around us is created, which then becomes the energetic vibration around us that collides with and attracts others in our life.
Every moment has been created with divine intelligence leading us to make the choice: to elevate OR to stay paralyzed in toxic patterns of fear and disempowerment.
Yes, we do have a choice. Always. Which side are you in? • 📸 @benoit_viaene
As soon as we arrived we fell in love with this place. All within walking distance from our tent we have surfing, a golf course, headland walk, beach walk, a crystal clear creek, shops, awesome bakery, barefoot bowls, a playground and skate park.
We've splashed around in the water, collected shells, gone kayaking, seen whales, starfish and had beach picnics in the moonlight. At night Isla is in charge of the torch and we go looking for rabbits, there are so many!
We've had the perfect balance of activity and chill time, lots of family fun with snippets of 'me time' too. Feeling so happy and grateful 💗
I can find heaps of excuses to not do my magic morning ritual- sleep, work, I gotta do something else.
And when I skip it- I skip the opportunity to connect to something bigger and also skipping out on my own divine spark. I go from triple grounded earth Venus mama to scattered, anxious, and stagnant. ::
My morning rite takes only a few minutes a day and has transformed my life in both subtle and powerful ways.
Some of my practices I do in the morning came from Rise Up- A course in high vibrational living. This course was a reminder for me to be devoted to myself so that I align within before anything else. To sit at the altar of my heart.
If you’re feeling stuck, a longing for connection, or just needing a change of pace @elevatetheglobe course RISE UP will support you to create a daily practice ::
Join this amazing supportive and active community that is all about high vibes and high levels of wellness and spirituality- I will be doing it again too! You will get a lifetime access to ALL of the content in the RISE UP program including coaching and support from Britt + Tara and the community.
If you’re curious about the practices I’ve been doing, message me or visit the link in my bio. (https://www.elevatetheglobe.com/pages/rise-up?refer=DMATTS)

I made this mala for myself, and it is much needed. I suffer from anxiety and the druzy agate really helps to calm my nerves and provides stillness. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This stone provides me with a stabilizing calmness and stillness when I wear it. I feel that I am more balanced and relaxed, but I also have focus. Druzy agate is thought to clear energy blockages and cleanse feelings of unwanted fear. You may feel uplifted when you wear druzy agate, and I highly recommend it. Plus, it looks pretty. ✨
Grounds and promotes courage. Lava stone calms anger, and provides insight and will to overcome. Lava stones are a great vehicle for essential oils, and are included in every Mala I make.

Despite the challenges the energy of the equinox can bring up - it is so worthwhile carving out time to appreciate the lessons that come with the challenge and friction of this season. Look back on what you have sewed all Spring and Summer and check out the abundance of beauty around you. I spent my morning happily harvesting vegetables and herbs from my humble little garden, the afternoon catching up in a long videochat with @modern_mystic_official ♡ , the evening walking one of my favourite trails in the woods with my pup and the nighttime honouring my body through movement and sipping the tea of my favourite plants.
Reposted from @luna.lingua with @instarepost_app -- Full Harvest Moon in Aries, September 24~ We are all little planets orbiting each others lives, sealed in our own melancholy atmospheres, revolving around our shared and distant desires for love, our axis' tilting towards and away from each other in this strange cosmic dance of life. Out here among the stars, it's so easy to lose your equilibrium. It's so easy to get lost.
This Full Moon in Aries rises with the question: what is it that's pulling you?
Does your axis spin around a fear of loneliness, desperately reaching for someone to hold on to? Or is it a fear of intimacy that makes you run away, only to love through the rearview mirror? Or maybe you're afraid of change, and your world keeps spinning in place, like a tire stuck in the mud.
Pinpointing the source of your fears is the necessary first step needed to push through that threshold and into the arms of your destiny.
We must remember now is not the time for answers. This is a transition phase in our lives. Our energy may feel scattered, but rest assured our constellations are aligning and falling into place, one star at a time.
For it is in this darkness between the stars, between each other, that we gain the necessary insight and fortitude needed to overcome whatever obstacles block our way with grace, and our own inner light.
It is important that we continue to maintain and cultivate our own little worlds, but we must also learn how to strike a balance between self preservation and inclusion. We all have our reasons for pushing and pulling people in and out of our lives. Ultimately, however, we all need someone to love.
Our lesson is to learn how to hold on to each other without holding each other back. For love in its highest form gives the freedom to be.
Love trusts in its own orbit when it spins on a sturdy backbone, on an axis that stands certain on its own.
On this Aries Harvest Moon, let your desire for freedom, for your own unique creative expression, and your desire for love guide you. Remain open and adaptable to all possibilities. There is a change blowing through the air. Like the seasons turning, it is only natural.
Let it flow.
COURAGE AND THE INNER CRITIC
On this full moon night, where we are honoring the journey of how to live courageously in our truths, I want to speak to how the inner critic interacts with courage and why it’s important to define courage not by the external moves you make, but by the (internal) way you show up with yourself.
The inner critic usually has one of two responses to the practice of courage. Courage is either a) threatening the zone of safety the inner critic has established that helps you stay below the radar so you’re not judged, noticed or rejected OR b) no matter what you do, you’re still not being courageous enough, stretching yourself far enough, or doing enough to get to where you want to grow/be/achieve.
If you’re experiencing “a”, the practice of courage for you has to come back to practicing what it means to feel safe within yourself- not just in your physical body, but in your spiritual body. How can you trust yourself more and find sanctuary within yourself, without sticking to the safety of old habits that have outworn their use in your life? If it’s “b”, then the practice of courage comes back to dropping into the body, and FEELING into how you already practice courage everyday, and allowing yourself to slow down, rest and get your body out of doing and into being with yourself. This is often a new courageous edge for you, because the being is much more scary for the inner critic than the doing.
The “doing” is more comfortable for the inner critic because it directs life from a rule book, rather than from heart or soul center. Because of that, the “doing” is happening from a place of confusion and misalignment (acting from the should’s), versus from a place of radical alignment to truth.
When you have a strong inner critic, the courage often lies in less doing and more being. The courage lies in dropping into the body, and releasing attachment from the mind. The courage lies in practicing playfulness, rather than following the rule book. The courage lies in being devoted to yourself, rather than external results or achievements.
What courageous act will take you closer into relationship with your being, rather than your doing?
Happy Fall season to the northern hemisphere! 🍁 And since fall is a Vata season, this means...it’s time for some grounding treats! 🍂
I will be able to upload the Vata chapter of our dosha squares collection tomorrow.
I enjoy ending my day with a nice cup of vegan chai - just rice milk and spices. 🥛💕
What about you? Do you have any special Autumn treat/snack?
