🌺🌷I'd like to officially introduce the first block in my Spring Seed Catalogue quilt... This has been in my head and heart for a long time! If you love flowers and gardening and quilting about it, you will love this this collection! I'm writing them up as a series of mini quilts and also a larger quilt incorporating all the designs and more.
🌺🌷Follow along with me as I reveal all the designs and release the patterns next year! 🌺🌷This is pieced in the new #tildaapplebutter , which is just perfect for classic flower designs.

Today is my stop on the tour of Sharon @lilabellelane 's newest book 'A Stitch in Time' published by @tuvapublishing. I've made the Dumpling Bag which I've heard is Sharon's favourite project from her book, and it's mine now too! 😁 Head to the blog to read all about how I selected my fabrics for this beauty, and to see lots more pretty pics. (including my stuff up! 🤫) Link in profile...
One Christmas mugrug/mini quilt done! I'm calling this a music teacher thank you pressie and feeling organised for having one finished already!
I straight line quilted this by first outlining the mittens, then travelling along the edges of them to stitch my lines. Was really fun!
Pattern 'Warm Mittens' coming soon from @quiltypie
This month's Liberty society is beautiful blues and subdued prints! Your Liberty chips have changed slightly and are now an actual fabric swatch. See my stories for an explanation and also how to fully customise them if you wish!
Some of my sewing in September... And we're back from our youth camp, tired and sore and happy. No one died 😏 and priceless precious memories were made. I even got some stitching time in. But I'll be very happy to sleep in my own bed tonight...
🌈I'm sharing my rainbow Liberty mini quilt on the blog today... 56 separate Liberty fabrics, and a paper pieced pattern by @threadbarecreations which is aptly called 'Belle'. I love all of Rose's patterns!

And you can also see this mini at the Brisbane#craftandquiltfair fair next week! Make sure to visit @ava_and_neve's lovely display.
Do you ever come home from vacation just feeling so... blah?? Like I’ve been feeling so restless lately anyway and taking a five day weekend on the family homestead just made me so much itchier to scoop up some land; renovate a cabin; harvest some timber to heat our house; raise my babe in the woods near her grandparents; grow a dye plant and veggie garden; have chickens; and continue my business but in a home studio. Ya feel me? #mondayvibesbutitswednesday#wannabehomesteader ⠀
This is a shot from last month of me quilting my #siennaburstquilt , pattern is #thencamejunepatterns
On my work table today is this gorgeous new collection Mon Beau Jardin by @ellisandhiggs. I'm not getting tired of tiny florals or pink and I've got some sweet projects coming up with this!
BTW the look of this photo came about because someone put a great finger print on my camera lens... Hence the soft focus! I wasn't happy, but the pic looked interesting📷😅😅
🌼On the blog today 🌼 I'm talking about the scrappy hexie quilt that I've embarked on, and all the favourites that I'm rediscovering from the nether corners of my stash. Link in profile 🌼
Motherhood has been so golden lately, as my kiddo is starting to act like a little human 🌿 I’ll miss the baby stage for sure but I am loving the toddler stage too. 🌿 I gave her the #siennaburstquilt I made because honestly, I owe her the world for being so patient and independent during the day while I sew. I’m so lucky that she likes going downtown with me to my studio, where she’s comfortable and knows where to find her toys and snacks and where I keep my fabric scraps and zippers (her actual favorite toys). This quilt reminds me of her— the fabrics she usually grabs out of my stash are bright, floral, crisp ones. When I brought this quilt home and put it on her bed, she cuddled up to it right away. Being a mom is amazing, y’all.
Who's enjoying playing with their Liberty scraps? 🙋♀️🙋♀️This fun challenge from @ava_and_neve is nearing its conclusion, but there's still plenty of time to make something! This little log cabin mugrug is made from 1.5" strips, and is a free pattern from @quiltpatchappli... also available as a wonky birdhouse block. My mugrug is part of the final prize in the scrap challenge... Along with patterns, notions and of course Liberty! #libertyscrapchallenge#mugrug
OMG! Justin at @keatonquilts
just liked two of my posts! A NYC-based quilter and soon-to-be author, he creates the most beautiful pieces ❤
You should give him a follow if you aren't already and P.S. he does a lot of amazing giveaways

I'm really loving all of the awesome #artvsartist & #quiltvsquilter posts so I thought I would join in on the fun for #flashbackfriday 😁🙆🏼♂️ Narrowing it down to just 8 pictures was really hard! I highly recommend looking through the hashtags, it's really fun to see all the beautiful artwork along with their inspiring makers 😀
I hope everyone has an awesome weekend! I'm so happy the weather in NYC is finally warming up again
🍓I've blogged about this super handy needlebook, which is also a sewing case as well. Thank you to all the contributors of inspiration on the #sunnyneedlebooksal hashtag, and especially to Mary @sunnydaysupply.🍓

An itsy bitsy needlebook is a fun size for just a few needles. It's just 2.5" x 2". The next one I have in the works is much more heavy duty, as I think it's useful to have a few different versions for different projects. Horses for courses 😜
This little sewing mouse needle book was a Christmas pressie for my mum in law, and I get to see it when I visit! Does anyone else see something they made ages ago and wonder how they did it? I rarely take notes when I design something, and I always wish I did later on! For a beautiful finish, always use high quality wool felt, and rotary cut it for accuracy. My ocd can't stand wonki cutting🙈😂
Scrappy hexie quilt progress! I'm joining slabs of about 40 hexies together and then sewing together. Planning on making making it twice this long, too make a decent lap sized quilt, around 60 in.
Are you creating with your Liberty scraps? I've started some 2in clamshells and am really enjoying the effect of the black quilting thread! Join in to win some great prizes each week through the month of July thanks to @ava_and_neve
🌺🥀My #tildasunkiss pillow is on the blog to read about. This range is just full of rich florals... I just had to create a field of blooms with their faces being kissed by the sun! Link in profile 🥀🌺#makersgonnamake
I've missed out on #missingmarket , #quiltvsquilter and all the other quilting fun lately because I'm Canadian, eh? Therefore I must be outside every second I can while this beautiful sunshine lasts :).
I took 3 days off from going to the studio and sewing and it felt SO GOOD! 🌞 Do you ever feel burnt out, even when you have your dream job? What do you do for a creative refresh?⠀
Give a little squeeze and a hug to your little ones today.
There is something about stuffed animals and dolls that one cannot resist! I think it’s the need to squeeze... lol what do you think? We are amazed at how popular @lindsayannostrom sweet Sunshine Girls are and her fabric line is delightful. It’s fun to watch shoppers reaction when they see the fabric and say “this is perfect for my granddaughter”. Then they start planning the pillow case, dress, quilt, apron... all kinds of projects that this fabric can be used for. @simplyeilene does many pattern projects for us on team ADORNit. This doll is one she did. So a big shout out and thank you to her!
Chiming in for #missingmarket with @gogokim and @thesewingloft⠀
5 things about yours truly: ⠀
1️⃣ I live exactly mid-way between Seattle and Portland, but just far enough that I hardly visit either and often miss out on things like #quiltmarket ⠀
2️⃣ I dream of owning a brick & mortar business⠀
3️⃣ I always need background noise when I’m sewing or quilting or handstitching, give me your podcast recommendations! I love shows like @creativewomensleague and @goaldiggerpodcast ⠀
4️⃣ I’ve never left the Pacific Northwest... unless you count a couple days in northwest Montana? ⠀
5️⃣ my husband and I are going into our SEVENTH summer together. Woah! Time flies! I still have as huge of a crush on him as when I first saw him at a random barbecue at the end of my first year at @westernwashingtonuniversity in Bellingham. ⠀
Hi! This is me #missingmarket and now flat on my back missing everything, because I just put my back out! Can I just say that back selfies are hard...who wants to see up your nose!?
5 random things about me. 🗨️I have six kids, and now I'm even a mother in law. I can't even... 🙊🗨️I have fibromyalgia, and am on a quest to fix myself. Some days I think I might be. 🗨️I'm so proud of my hubby and kids... They are all such loving thoughtful people. God has blessed me richly. 🗨️I'm on my 18th year of homeschooling. It's been such a fun ride. Our motto is 'never stop learning'. 🗨️I have sewn and crafted for over 30 years now. Creating is part of me, and I've passed that on to my kids, who are artists, composers and engineers and hopefully life long creators.
This glorious rainbow creation is Deidra @quiltyobsession 's version of my🐰 Bunny Patch 🐇. She chose to make a square version that uses just two of each block, and is an even quicker make... I love the fabrics she chose!
Deidra is giving away a copy of the pattern on her blog... Head over to enter and see more of her lovely pics! Versions of Bunny Patch are starting to pop up around IG, and I'm so excited 😆🤩
Hi hello just thought I’d say hi and tell you all about me + what I’m about, if you’re new here. I’m Paige, the gal behind The Wild Sweet Pea Quilt & Embroidery Co. I want to put beautiful things out into the world and I’m a firm believer that making handmade home decor products is one of the best ways to do. I think that handmade quilts spark joy that can be passed down through generations. Handmade products tell stories. So anyways I’m a textile + fiber artist specializing in quilting & embroidery, and I dabble in other sewing & alteration & clothing upcycle type things; as well as blogging and pattern writing; and most importantly, being a wife and mom. I like to be busy and I have so many ideas and I just want to do it all. Also, you can view the stories highlight reel for more info about me + my biz. So now, tell me— who are you, what do you do, and where are you from? .
