This guy—this lone goose—was yelling at the top of his lungs in the middle of the neighborhood pond at 7:05 this morning. I assume that’s nature’s equivalent of mowing your lawn too early. #shutyourmouthbird#quietyou
I call this blend, "Quiet, You". 😁
Meant to quiet an overactive mind, soothe anxious or self-deprecating thoughts, and put a stop to those "hypothetical conversations" of all those things you'd like to say if you had the cajones to do so. 😂
Wild Orange x4
OPTIONAL (but gorgeous & so worth it):
Dried Chamomile flowers
What blends are you creating these days? .
*Recipe is for a 5ml roller bottle.
I ate jerk every day, obv. Tasted of pimento and smoke. Half a dozen sauces I'm going to imitate (poorly). Blessed to eat this well. Had a long discussion with my server about food waste on the island (from tourism). Buffets getting tossed which workers aren't allowed to eat. Unripe fruit sliced daily in winter to sit and look pretty. The rich bring our bad habits with us around the world.
I only take what I can eat and always clean my plate (childhood scolding sigh) but I'm complicit in a million invisible ways. I am so very, very lucky to get to eat this.

Laying here in the dark, contemplating The Exorcist and why the demon doesn’t just keep the body alive so it doesn’t get noticed, when a little voice inside my head says “Don’t tease the demons, dear.” Wonder who that could be?
So I bought another orchid, so what! It's got ten flowers on it and two more coming! Sue me! So I'm totally into orchids now and it's kind of sick! Whatever, fight me IRL! #quietyou#theresnothingtoseehere
So I have this secret hobby. I'm a taxidermist. I've been doing it quite a while, and as with everything I'm self taught. And boy, do I have a long way to go. Taxidermy essentially functions as a place where I can blend both art and science; this calms me down somehow. I make sure my sources are ethical (copious research goes into this) and that the "not skin" part of the mouse goes to a bird sanctuary for final use. I make odd things, and it helps me to de-stress, largely due to the nature of concentration required for a piece. This piece was more avant-garde than I wanted it to be, but as it's going to be used as part of a project on historic taxidermy and proper handling of taxidermy in a museum setting, I gave my self some leeway to go nuts. So yay #taxidermy ? Ps: Thanks @sommerva96 for the photo!
