Sorry for the belated post! Back from Stockholm and battling a three-week flu/cold.
Today's reflections? Baby-making: [Excerpt] I froze my eggs because there was a chance treatment would make me infertile. It was an overwhelming decision and process, though. The daily rotation of tests and drugs, the fear of not administering my at-home shots properly, the baby photos everywhere, the envious looks of couples directed at those who came with kids already in tow.
This morning, Heather and I were eating brunch at the Trolley Car diner in East Falls when she suddenly stopped talking and just started staring at this baby at the next table....typical. So I turned to the man holding the baby and I said, "excuse me, I'm sorry to bother you, but my girlfriend would really like to canoodle your baby." He laughed pretty hard and said, "of course!"
