Road trip Thursday with my best one @mickymckay1 took us to @rhinosgymnasium today.
Leg day this week was purely high reps whilst trying to maintain some decent weight on the machines.
Managed to match the boss on all bar one exercise. Which when he’s about 25kg heavier than me and a man I’m actually pretty damn proud of!
This video was actually an extra set as douchebag didn’t press record on the set before ffs!!!
So here’s 100kg v-squats x 15. Set 4. I’m in pain!!!

gud morning fam. hit legs earlier and it felt fantastic. my mini pre workout of a date + @crazyrichardspb gave me a bit more energy than if I were to go fasted. what do you guys prefer: working out fasted or fueled? on another note, you probably don’t see me post too many ab pics anymore and that’s just because I haven’t been focusing much on my abs! I’ve learned to appreciate the muscle I’ve been building elsewhere and eating to fuel my workouts. I don’t have super defined abs like I used to, and that’s okay! I still work on core strength, but I don’t do intense cardio like I used to either so my definition has disappeared a little. so whatever I have is what I got 🤷🏼♀️ maybe down the road this will change, but for now we listenin to our bodies and bein intuitive af out here ✌🏼

My team hit a HUGE milestone and I am so incredibly proud of every single person. We are officially a 1 Star Diamond team (a rank that takes a lot of hard work & team effort). I couldn’t have done this alone - it took 25+ people being in sync for SIX WEEKS to make this happen and we got through it flawlessly. This also means that I’ll be able to represent us at an all expenses paid conference in LA in February to learn from the top coaches in the network!

This has been my go to leg sesh when I'm shorter on time and don't feel like doing any fancy shit - it's quick but effective and maaann it burns 👌
The purpose of this working is not to lift super heavy and hit PR's or fail; the point is to fatigue your muscles. Check it:
*Using the same weight for all moves, and a booty band if preferred*
*Take short breaks between sets ~30 seconds*
🔸️*Last clip* shows some of the things I do to warm up - 2-3 rounds of 10 reps
🔸️Walking Lunges w/ Kickback x50 (to fatigue muscles from the get-go)
🔸️BB Squat 3x10
🔸️Deadlift 3x10 (sumo or conventional - choose what's harder for you)
🔸️Stiff Leg Seadlift 3x10
🔸️Hip Thrusts 3x10
🔸️Side to Side Bench Hopover x50 🔥

Few changes I’ve made lately:-
Training more focused per bodypart
Food is much cleaner
Calories are more consistent but probably lower
I train at the same time every day and the same thing on the day ever week
Focusing on quality over quantity
I added pre/intra/post shakes back in

My boy @lop3s66 had me doing more diabolical shit today for deads lol! Used the trap bar again only this time it was with the wagon wheels and the low handle. So yeah pretty much started right where my sticking point is! On the bright side he had me do doubles! Definitely pleased with what I worked up too! The vid shows my top two sets of 700 and 725!
TODAY’S LEG WORKOUT
This is a quad focused day and the goal is to drive as much blood as possible to the quads. Think of the burn, if it hurts keep going until you finish the set reps. The less you stop to catch your breath the better 👊🏼💥
1️⃣ Front squat: 5x8-10. Increasing the weight after every set
2️⃣Hack squat: 5x15,12,10,12,15. Pyramid style, increasing weight for the first 3 and decrease for the last 2 sets
3️⃣ Leg press: 100 reps. I broke it down into 3 sets of 50,25,25
4️⃣ Leg extensions: 3x21 increase weight every 7 sets. Then add a stupid pyramid set of 5x15 first 2 heavy last 3 lighter 💀
5️⃣ Calf raises: 3x30. Every 10 reps switch position of toes

To think today my thighs measure up 33% more today than here enroute to my first contest... Tomorrow is a new day, new week, new approach (kinda).... Maybe a new (kinda?) look ... Well, change of direction compared to this last month anyway...
