We are in the middle of our #SeptemberMemberDrive
We would like to welcome our newest members to our @lamontanitacoop family!
We asked our current member-owners to tell us why they choose to support #LMCoop and here is a great response from our #BoardofDirectors President, Chad Jones "I am an LMC member-owner for 3 simple reasons: the best produce in town, the camaraderie with workers and other shoppers, and keeping my grocery dollars in the local economy." Thanks Chad for sharing your insight, and for supporting your #localeconomy ! You rock!

Harpist - I met Claire this talented, beautiful, and personable harpist at the Santa Fe Renaissance Festival yesterday. She was kind enough to talk to me for a few minutes and let me take her picture. If you have an event and need a harpist please contact her at @peaceful_panicle It was a pleasure meeting you Saturday!! 👍😊
You can tell fall is in the air in #southwest as the hot air balloons go over your house and I think they lead your way in the air! You Gotta be careful not to “gawk” at them, as there IS many car accidents during this season. 😝
On a side a note...
#newmexicoskies are the best, and the focus today with the eyes looking towards heaven. Needing a fresh touch of Jesus today! Still not too late to come to @nccabq for 10:45am service!
#God of Your promise
You don’t speak in vain
No syllable empty or void
For once You have spoken
All nature and science
Follow the sound of Your voice
And as You speak
A hundred billion creatures catch Your breath
Evolving in pursuit of what You said
If it all reveals Your nature so will I
I can see Your heart in everything You say
Every painted sky
A canvas of Your grace
If creation still obeys You so will I
So will I
So will I”
I just love trees! I’m not a tree hug-er, but I’d love to know their story. You can see their branches broken, bark thick and scaling...but it’s trunk still swirling in the sky! I’m enamored by how they can bloom in the spring, withstand the #desert#heat and still have green leaves in drought.
I heard an amazing story this week on the #rings of #trees ...the inner circles of the trunk of trees not only tell the age of the tree, but the struggle it’s had. If the rings are far apart? It has not had drought, wind, bugs and it’s trunk or tree will not be strong. It’s only when it’s struggled the tree rings are tighter together and it’s tree trunk is healthy & strong! I guess we have a lot to compare with trees? I want to be stronger woman, but do I want the struggle that goes along with it?
P.S. You might see something close to the trees? Lol
Here’s a scripture I’m standing on in this @divine_deserts in Albuquerque! 🌵🙌🏼🙏🏼♥️🌵🌸 Found these cacti blooming on our walk on Friday...😍 “This is what GOD says, the God who builds a road right through the ocean, who carves a path through pounding waves, The God who summons horses and chariots and armies— they lie down and then can’t get up; they’re snuffed out like so many candles: “Forget about what’s happened; don’t keep going over old history. Be alert, be present. I’m about to do something brand-new. It’s bursting out! Don’t you see it? There it is! I’m making a road through the desert, rivers in the badlands. Wild animals will say ‘Thank you!’ —the coyotes and the buzzards— Because I provided water in the desert, rivers through the sun-baked earth, Drinking water for the people I chose, the people I made especially for myself, a people custom-made to praise me.”
Isaiah 43:16-21 MSG
We went for a walk down by the Rio Grande and decided to go the opposite way on the trail. It’s crazy when you know what to expect when you go the same way each time. But backwards, there is new scenery, that you don’t see going forwards. It really made me reflect, that we can get into the same comfortable path and we never want to journey in this life out of the comfort zone of going forward on the same path of life. But when we go a different path you especially appreciate the newly discovered journey that can bring you joy, if we venture out. I guess don’t get too comfortable with this life, there’s so much to explore, walk on & journey together with God, family & friends! #walkitbackwards#livelife#explore#reflection#letitrain
