Proxi Chicago (https://www.proxichicago.com/) - The West Loop is quickly becoming one of my favorite spots in the Windy City (see: Bombobar, Au Cheval, Girl and the Goat, Bad Hunter...) and Proxi did absolutely nothing to change that! Small plates with a heavily Asian influence (with some other whispers from Spain tucked in) they have hit a home run! Great atmosphere, lively cocktail menu and flavorful dishes make this a must hit spot. The Vietnamese crepe with shrimp and pork belly (pictured) was subtle with the right amount of heat. Don’t skip the black pepper pork or the Thai beef salad. When you’re done walk the four blocks to get something sweet from Bombobar and call it a perfect night!! @proxichicago #proxichicago @bombobar
