Providence Canyon 🏜🚁
Two years ago was my first time here & probably my first hike ever, I took a wrong turn and three hours later I found myself on a 7 mile hike. After that day I always made sure to always be properly informed about the trails. This time around I avoided that trail 😅.
Have you been to Georgia's little Grand Canyon? Located in Stewart County GA, this park has 10 hiking trails that you and your friends can explore! Go to our bio to watch our full Providence Canyon video on our YouTube channel! Thanks to @armanidpb for the trailer!
Hiking #ProvidenceCanyon State Park a couple of weeks ago reminded me of how much I love being outdoors! Man, I remember hiking even on weekdays when I lived in Arizona. In Florida...not so much. Anybody have any good recommendations for Central Florida? I’ve gotta incorporate more into my life.
3 ways to prevent and get through postpartum depression and anxiety!
1) Get out of the house! Go for walks outside, go do something by yourself, go on a new adventure, see a friend you haven’t seen in a while. Just get out! .
2) Talk to other mamas! The reality of it is, more women go through this than you think. Having a baby comes with some serious changes. Talk to other moms who have gotten through it, chances are, they’ve probably gone through the exact same things you’re going through now
3) Eliminate negative self talk from your life! In fact, eliminate negative people from your life. Instead of telling yourself how horrible of a job you think you’re doing, remind yourself daily of how awesome you are! (I mean.. you DID just create a living, breathing human being. That’s pretty awesome stuff!) If someone is playing a role in the negative crap that goes through your mind, they have to go. Remind yourself it isn’t about them, it’s about your baby. And your baby deserves to have a happy mom ❤️ #happiness#postparumjourney#postpartumdepression#postpartumbody#positivity#love#fitlife#fitmom#providencecanyon#mom#momlife#postpartumfitness#mompreneur#lovemyjob#life#houseofhogsed#hiking#baby#ergobaby
Providence Canyon State Park is also better known as the “Little Grand Canyon”, for obvious reasons. As a traveler, it’s so easy to overlook gems like these in your own home state, while you are out seeking adventure elsewhere. I took a day trip to this park and did some (a lot) of hiking, and it was incredible. You get to hike down into the canyons and there are two hikes around the canyon rim. The longer hike is not for beginners by any means, but the shorter hike is around 3 miles and absolutely worth it to see views like this! #exploregeorgia#providencecanyon
