(Sigue en 🇪🇸) I spent a week between Alexandria and Cairo visiting the projects we fund for Palestinian refugees fleeing from Syria... Two time refugees, first they had to leave Palestine and later Syria. I heard personal stories I hope you don't ever need to hear, my heart sinked several times. But I still believe there's much more care and love in this world than pain, there's much more generosity than greed, more compassion than egoism. I choose to believe we all can make a difference and this wonderful team of Red Cross/Red Crescent volunteers and staff members are living proof of it. So proud of them, so proud of the Red Cross.
And being very honest, really thankful to my Meditation and Yoga practice for healing my mind and heart to be of better service for others

I saw these pictures somewhere and it reminded me of my past #communityservice
Throwback to 2011 when I renovated THE GOVERNMENT HEALTH CENTER IN ORUNGHE BAWOP BOKI LGA CROSS RIVER STATE.
I remember how I went from house to house of the "well-to-do" in that community seeking funds but they all turned me down. Thank God for friends and family who contributed to this project then. The health centre was a mess. No ceiling, no curtains, no mattresses, no drugs, leaking roof, in fact the place looked like a poultry then. Well, at the end, I was given a chieftaincy title by the community in appreciation for that project. Feel free to address me by that title OTU OBUAD 1 OF ORUNGHE BAWOP.

All our supplies are in and we can't wait to get our royalties at the Destitute Home to work!!! This is a major breakthrough on our Prosperous Children Education Project we started at the home 11months ago and have had little or no #support but we have remained hopeful. All of this was donated by someone I have never met before but just took interest in our work on #LinkedIn . Dear @precious_allen_the_author we can never thank you enough for these #gifts to us. You have shown that indeed you are a #goodwillambassador , a seasoned #teacher and above all lover of God. Thank you for trusting me and believing in our Foundation's mission which is to alleviate the suffering of the #lessPrivilege by carrying out activities that will enhance their integrity. #Teaching and #learning will be a lot easier as we will be able to show them pictures which will help us make the learning real since we have language barriers. Our efforts to ensure #NoChildShouldBeLeftBehind will be strengthened by this #audio -visual aids and #writingmaterials which they have never seen before. We will train them and eventually erase the tag "Destitute". We will continue to ensure #InclusionNotIsolation we hope we get more support in cleaning their #environment as well. God bless you dear Precious Allen
