I love that my health company provides REAL super food nutrition and adaptogenic herbs that are impossible to get from food alone. We live in a world that we MUST supplement in to get maximum nutrition. If you're happy with your weight, muscle density, energy levels, digestive system, skin and if you have the time to chop, cook and prep all your vegetables, proteins, good fats, and healthy carbs for 5-6 small meals per day then in fact this may NOT be for you... I have strong belief it is a necessity to all though.

I listen to really old school country music while I train. (I’m aware that I am weird).

But I also listen to nature music while I work.

I spend most days in gym clothes.

But I also like to wear dresses and heels.

I have my Master’s degree and read up on the latest science in my field.

But I also read a lot more of “woo-woo” and personal development books.

The reason I’m sharing these random facts with you is because for YEARS I thought I had to change certain aspects depending on “who” I wanted to fit in with.
.

I didn’t do yoga, because I thought it went against strength training. I didn’t wear make up on days I worked out because I was afraid of being mocked out. I never drank green juice nor owned essential oils because I was “team science”, so that “hippy” stuff was something I couldn’t be in to.
.

But then I realized I wasn’t being myself. You can enjoy both sides of things. There are no rules when it comes to being happy and being how you truly are.
.

I love lifting weights and I have a strong science background. I also believe fully in being my highest self, being happy, and nurturing my soul.
.

So I urge you today to break the rules. Do what truly makes you thrive, who cares what other people think or say.
.

Have you ever been asked this question? Its the  driving force that will keep your determination burning when you are weak.  I am often asked (mostly by naysayers), “why do you share so much?” —————————————————
My why has been hard for me to express lately. 
Previously, I would describe my Dads story and how my why was to give him hope and provide an example for my children.  With him gone, it’s been a difficult concept for me to visit. 🌿
When my dad passed, he was doing the best I’ve seen him in years. He had a positive outlook about his ability, was loosing weight and was going to cardiac rehab.  Each week, he would give me an update and would witness  the positive food choices and decisions he was doing for his quality of life....so it was just hard to see the progress and all of a sudden he was gone.  One night, while expressing this to my husband, he replied: “He was able to do all of that because of you...your constant encouragement and example”.

My approach was always so kind and loving with him.....with him I could be a unique kind of patient.  I began to recall all of our conversations about small things he could do each day, his critical inquiries about my home workouts turning into curious questions about what he could do and the immense pride he would beam sharing a positive Doctor report. 🌿
With my husbands words, a teary realization surfaced.  I may not have been the sole reason, but Thats my Why.  I am going to show up no matter what, for me, for my husband, for my children.....But- if through you rolling your eyes, you find a tiny bit of inspiration- then I will continue to share the raw journey.  If I can live in a way to glorify God and inspire others to better their quality of life no matter the outlook, then I will share pushing play every day. #findyourwhy #overcominggrief -
