It's been a long week of back-to-school for parents and kids. High stress and exposure to germs creates the perfect storm for getting sick. Boost your immune system with any of our juices so your body is stronger when cold season picks up!
Quick easy meals and snacks are my jam! I'm not a fan of having to spend too much time in the kitchen, so I try my best to make quick, nutritious and delicious meals so I can spend more time reading 🤓
Here is one of my favorite breakfast shakes.
Banana Chia Seed Shake:
1 whole small banana
8oz almond milk (or preferred milk)
1 tbsp of cinnamon
1 tbsp of roasted cacao nibs
1 tbsp of chia seeds
Add your favorite protein powder
Blend the milk, banana, cinnamon, nibs, and protein powder until you've reached your desired texture. Then add chia seeds and enjoy!
P.S. you can blend the chia seeds with all the other ingredients if you prefer. I like to garnish with mine, but you don't have to 😘 .
When Mom said "drink your milk" she was a little right.⠀
🥛Milk is one of the most nutritious drinks in the world.⠀
Rich in high quality protein, It has approximately 7.7 g in each cup (244 g)⠀
Proteins in milk can be divided into 2 groups: casein and whey.⠀
Both of these groups of milk proteins are considered to be of excellent quality, with a high proportion of essential amino acids and good digestibility.⠀
•Most of the proteins in milk are categorized as casein, which has a number of health benefits⠀
•Whey proteins are one of the two main families of milk proteins. In addition to being good for muscle growth and maintenance, they may decrease blood pressure and improve mood.⠀
