Post workout drink: Starbucks Almond Protein Blended Cold Brew
But it was with iced coffee. The cold brew wasn't ready. This is the second time this month I've been to Starbucks and the cold brew wasnt ready. Get it together!
Of course it is pricey, in my humble opinion . Taste is mediocre, but it's ok. 12g of protein. 270 calories. I wouldn't get this very often!

Even the thought of this post makes me cringe. I’ve waited to put it up because I’ve been hoping things will change✨ I made a promise to myself to get up in the morning and train for a half marathon ✨ I found the marathon, set the date, planned out the training... and THEN I began the work of not backing out on promises I made to myself ✨ When I was tired, didn’t feel like getting up, running felt hard... whatever the excuse, I pushed through BECAUSE I TOLD MYSELF I WOULD ✨ Now it’s clear that I have a stress fracture and can’t train on schedule for that half marathon I had planned to run ✨ My first response was to keep going because I made myself a promise, no matter what! ✨ I’ve finally come to realize that I have to listen to what my body is saying AND that I am NOT breaking this promise ✨ I WILL train and run a half marathon when l am healed. In the meantime, I’ll take care of my body and keep practicing being a better version of myself everyday✨ There are plenty of other promises asking to be broken to focus my efforts on 😉 So, new running shoes, until next time...

One of my Unicorns slipped on a patch of black ice this morning. And I know I shouldn't laugh but he let an eency weency fart slip out as he tried to catch himself and, not kidding, 7 butterflies shot straight out of his butt. I think he was embarrassed but I told him it's totally normal and it happens to me all the time. It doesn't, unfortunately, but part of me wishes it would.
☕️Anyway. I huffed and puffed and sneezed this short list of the best strength exercises together no more than a few moments ago. It’s not all-inclusive by any means (let’s see how many dementors bless us with their presence in the comments and say “you forgot this and that and also gfy”) but it’s 12 of my personal all-time favorite exercises for building full body strength.
