Wow I wish I had believed the hype earlier 😻 Lil Buff Protein Cakes ARE 🔥🔥🔥 .
It is super moist and made a hugeeee serving which I wasn’t expecting. It’s about as spot on to cake as you can get without actually having cake mix 🙌🏼 .
For frosting I used Fage mixed with some almond milk and sugar free pudding mix 💕 .

Yesterday's ice storm meant it was a "snow day" and school was canceled for the girls. Instead of knocking out a mile long to-do list we jammied it up, had the fire going, watched movies, and at the girls' requests I made pancakes for lunch. #surewhynot 🤷🏻‍♀️ I'd say we made the best of things around here. ❤️🥞☕️ And these @Krusteaz Buttermilk Protein Pancakes did not disappoint. They were a cinch to make. They cooked perfectly golden brown on the edges and light & fluffy in the center; just the way I like them. Neither Bobby or I could belive they were all whole wheat and had 15g of protein. Full disclosure: I was a little bit hesitant about whether I'd really enjoy these pancakes or not. I eat a high protein diet but I am not a fan of protein powder, and the dry pancake mix did have the faint scent of protein powder. But honestly these pancakes were awesome! SO GOOD. 🙌 Even my 2 & 3 year old gobbled them up! I topped mine off with a handful of dark chocolate chips & pomegranate seeds, because #healthfood 😂 and I was in pancake heaven. Cranberry orange #ProteinPancakes with a cranberry “syrup”.. though it’s more like a sauce. Zero refined sugar, I used maple syrup as the sweetener in the sauce. I’ll probably eat the leftovers with a spoon. Way good ❤️🍁🥞🍊❤️ .

———————————————————————— #REPOST @fareedaspates Everyone who knows me already know just how much I enjoy Pamcakespancakes. It's literally one of my favorite things to eat. So why not make dessert out of it. So I have been playing around with this recipe but here goes..
Pamcakespancakes pumpkin spice muffins with butterscotch morsels: 
Carbs:43g
Fat:7g
Protein:29g 
Makes 6 muffins

2/3 cup Pamcakespancake pumpkin spice mix 
1/2 cup pumpkin puree
1 1/2 tsp of baking powder
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract 
1/4 cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk 
3 packs of splenda
1 tbsp of butterscotch morsels 
Mix all together in a bowl
Bake at 400 degrees for 10-15 min.
BOOM Yumminess. Add things that you feel will make this even better.  Just Have fun with it!!😍😍

Protein packed, sugar free, and a good source of fiber! I’ve made this recipe for meal prep and it holds up great in the fridge! 😊
Makes two servings. 3-4 pancakes each serving.
Ingredients:
•1 Cup oat (ground into flour)
•1/2 cup @bobsredmill vital wheat gluten
•1 tsp Cinnamon
•2 tsp baking soda
•2 tsp baking powder
•1/2 cup pumpkin puree
•Stevia to taste (I used liquid stevia)
•1/2 cup unsweetened apple sauce
•1/2 cup plant milk
•1 tps vanilla extract
•1/4 cup butter plant milk (1/4 cup milk 1 tsp apple cider vinegar)

Steps:
1️⃣ In a large bowl mix oat flour, vital wheat gluten, baking soda, baking powder, and cinnamon.
2️⃣ In a separate bowl mix pumpkin puree, apple sauce, liquid stevia to taste, plant milk, and vanilla extract.
3️⃣ Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and mix until combined, do not over mix.
4️⃣Add plant milk and ACV last, give one last stir to combine
5️⃣ Cook 2 minutes on each side
6️⃣ Top with your favorite pancake syrup and fruit!

CARDIO FOR FAT LOSS BY 👋 Many folks have turned to low intensity cardiovascular work to "burn more body fat than carbohydrates." First, let's get that theory out of the way. Carbohydrates and fat are the body's primary fuel source during activity. Carbohydrates are used first and in terms of carbohydrate sources, it will first be blood glucose that's utilized for energy.

Next, stored carbohydrate (glycogen) will be turned into glucose and utilized. As exercise continues (and I'm talking hours, like a marathon), fat will become the primary fuel source.

Keep in mind that there is never only one fuel source, it's always a mixture of fuels for the body; however, the ratios change (e.g. 90% carbohydrates, 10% fat at the start of exercise, then the carbohydrate percentage decreases and fat percentage increases as exercise continues.). It is also important to note that fat requires oxygen to be burned as fuel, which is where the misconception about low intensity aerobics burning more fat comes into play. The thought is that if you have more oxygen available (e.g., you're not gasping for air because your intensity is so low), you'll be able to burn more fat. 👋 Here's The Truth 👋

It is true that a greater percentage of calories burned will come from fat if exercising at a low intensity. However, because you're exercising at a lower intensity, you will burn fewer total calories.

On the contrary, if you do a harder, higher intensity activity, like sprinting, you'll burn an overall greater amount of calories. 💪

I had left over protein pancakes 🥞 from the other day (always make extra and freeze them for a quick and easy meal!), then I mixed together vanilla Greek yogurt with some honey 🍯 and cinnamon to use instead of syrup, cut up a banana 🍌 and had myself an easy and healthy (and filling!!) breakfast 🥞!
