Protein pancakes for dinner 👌🏻 I’ve never made protein pancakes before so this was new for me!! Soooo good too!! I got the base of the recipe from @mindbodyandfit (thanks girl) and added some of my own stuff!! 1/2 a banana
3 tbsps oat flour
1 tbsp protein of your choice
1/4 cup almond milk
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp of vanilla (only because my protein powder was unflavored and I hate that)
1 tbsp dark chocolate chips
Drizzled with almond butter and with strawberries and blueberries on the side 🍓🍓
I am always looking for new things to feed my sweet tooth, so why not go for some protein pancakes🍳🍳 1 small banana, 1 scoop whey protein, 25g plain oats, 200ml unsweetened almond milk! And it’s really that easy. Topped with fat free Greek yoga and some peanut butter!!😋😋

Who doesn’t like starting their day with a batch of delicious pancakes?! I know I do!
Most pancake recipes out there have a crazy amount of carbs and not much else so here is a recipe for some super tasty protein packed pancakes! Courtesy of @brotherjacob. If you aren’t following him and his amazing creations already, I highly suggest you do!
Cherry Pie Quattro Pancake Recipe
Here is what you will need:
* 75 mL pumpkin puree
* 75 mL Greek Yogurt (2%)
* 100 mL egg whites (Liquid Muscle-Strawberry flavour)
* a dash of vanilla extract
* 30 g oat flour
* 10 g coconut flour
* 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
* A squirt of lemon juice
* Vanilla Quattro Protein Powder
* Liquid Stevia
* No sugar added Cherry Pie Filling (E.D Smith’s Light and Fruity)
* 1 Fresh Cherry
* Maraschino Cherries
* Light Whipped Cream (optional)
* Graham Cracker crumbs (optional)
1. Mix wet ingredients and stir in dry ingredients
2. Cook on a hot greased pan or griddle at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for about 3-4 minutes, then flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until done
3. For the vanilla “icing” or “protein fluff”, mix 1 scoop of Vanilla Quattro with 80-100g greek yogurt and a couple of drops of stevia
4. Layer each pancake with the vanilla icing concoction and banana slices, top with cherry pie filling, whipped cream and whatever else you’d like

Vegan chickpea pancakes 🌱
Chickpea or gram flour is 👌
It's high in fibre, naturally gluten-free, and has a much higher proportion of protein than other flours.
100g of gram flour contains 22g protein.
Mash 100g banana
Add half a tsp of baking powder 100g of chickpea flour and then gradually add your plant milk of choice gradually until you get a good pancake consistency.
That's the base recipe, easy as that, takes minutes 🤗
You can then get creative and add whatever you want to the mix.
I added vanilla, coconut nectar, cinnamon and raw cacao nibs to these and topped with soy yogurt and strawbs 😋

One reason I share the recipes I do is not always because its an aesthetically-pleasing shot (example A: these cakes of the pan 🥞)
It’s because they’re actually simple, yummy & healthy enough to make and eat every day. They also don’t require buying a pile of fancy ingredients for just 1 teaspoon, that then sit in the back of the cupboard for a year nurturing a moth family 🙅🏽♀️😳

Post gym protein pancakes 🥞 💜
I have sticking to 3 filling meals throughout the day and upping my macros to put on a little muscle before I start thinking about competing again 😋 🏋️♀️ 👙
Post show binging was such an issue but being on my trip and eating at regular meal times got me back into the routine. I preferred the 5 meals a day on prep because they being lower carb they only kept me full for a little while, but now that I’m working on building muscle the carbs go up and I prefer 3 filling meals. 😊
I aim to get most of my carbs in at breakfast and lunch (before and after the gym) as they’ll be used most efficiently and help with recovery 👌🏽 Recipe for Protein Pancakes 🥞
Blend up and fry with spray:
1 cup oats 🌾
2 eggs 🥚
1/2 cup soy 🥛
1 scoop @mutantnation birthday cake protein powder
4 tsp baking powder
70 g microwaved frozen strawberries 🍓
70 g microwaved frozen blueberries
1 tbsp @waldenfarmsinternational 0 cal chocolate syrup 🍫
Tasted like a strawberry shortcake 😍
Macros: 72 g C 17 g F 52 g P and 632 cal

▪️1/2C Kodiak Cakes Dark Chocolate
▪️1/2C Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
▪️1TB Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
▪️1/2 Honey Graham Cracker
▪️1/6 Hershey’s Bar
Heat a griddle to medium. Mix the kodiak cakes protein pancake mix, almond milk, and vanilla. Form into two large cakes on the griddle. Melt 2 marshmallows in the microwave for about 10 seconds. Add the 1TB of almond milk and stir vigorously until smooth. Set aside to use as a syrup. Finish cooking the pancakes and plate with the marshmallow syrup and your favorite s’mores toppings!
