🌾🍫💪 Trek Cocoa Oat Protein Flapjack 💪🍫🌾 The Trek Flapjack was something I was looking forward to because we all know how much I love flapjacks and anything oat related, which are rarely are the under 200 cals... Especially with chocolate. But eh, this was better than average but... Just alright. The things that ruined it was the chocolate topping was soft and sort of spread on top and stuff rather than a solid chocolate layer on top... And there were crispy pieces in the oat part and no traditional golden syrup taste that flapjacks usually have. The crispy pieces just don't belong in a Flapjack that's meant to be chewy and soft and nummy. Was still good but not something I think is amazing. The chocolate layer was reminiscent of the cocoa delight Nakd bar? Which was good because that's one of my favourite Nakd bars. But it was a bit thin for my liking. Overall, this was alright and not too bad for the protein, but didn't meet my expectations! I give it a 7.5/10.

Fully Loaded Flapjacks! Loved making these today after work 🍯 These little beauties are loaded with Sunflower seeds ,pumpkin seeds ,hemp seeds and golden linseed and also milled chia seeds with goiji berries. All these mixed with oatbran & wheatbran. Vanilla Protein powder added for sweetness and instead of sugar with a small dollop of nutella. Been doing a tad bit of Sunday baking as you were “ vanilla and @wholeearthfoods “ peanut butter flap jacks 💪👌❤️.....
120 grams rolled oats
100 grams @wholeearthfoods peanut butter
60 grams @bbsupplementsuk (diet whey vanilla)
125-150 grams almond, soy, coconut or skim milk
15 grams honey
Preheat your oven to 190 degrees C (gas mark 5)
Mix the @bbsupplementsuk (diet whey vanilla)and rolled oats together in a large mixing bowl
Add the milk and peanut butter and stir until the mixture is smooth
Add the honey and stir
Spray or drizzle coconut oil evenly on a baking tray
Spread the mixture evenly on the baking tray
Cook for 10-12 minutes
Let cool, cut into squares and enjoy!
As we’ve said, feel free to add nuts and fruits to taste. (I added raisins) These extras will also help make the bar crunchy or chewy, depending on your preference.
These are quite easy to make and don’t take longer than 15 minutes, it’s always a good idea to prepare and bake them in bulk. If you wrap your bars in cling film and pop them in an airtight freezer bag, they’ll be good for two weeks. All you have to do is defrost them!

Starting with reviews of the @phdnutritionuk protein flapjacks. First: Blueberry. I'm not usually a fan of protein flapjacks because they're typically really high caloire, high carb, and barely any protein... But this range seems okay
Calories: 222. C27/ P15/ F8, The protein in this is high quality. Contains palm oil unfortunately. Overall it's higher calorie & barb than a protein bar, but for a flapjack made from oats those calories and macros are really good
Texture: is great - really oaty and chewy like there's syrup in the mix. You can feel the blueberries in it, it's fairy spot on flapjack texture
Taste: There's dried blueberrys throughout and the bluerry taste is perfect. It's oaty, sweet, and tastes like a real blueberry flapjack! Omnom
8/10 taste & texture (end note: I thought when I ate it there were cranberrys throughout but apparently those are dried cranberries which is a bit random.. But who cares cause it tasted great)
Home made protein flapjacks 🍌🥜🍫 129 calories each
10.8g carbs, 5.4g fat, 8.8g protein
20g flax seed
2 scoops vanilla whey protein powder
1 large banana
Tbsp 0 cal maple syrup or honey
1tsp vanilla essence
1tbsp peanut butter
1.Preheat oven to 160°c
2.Mix your oats, flax seeds and protein powder in a bowl
3.in a pan mix and melt your peanut butter and maple syrup/ honey
4.Mash the banana and add this to the dry ingredients along with the vanilla essencd and melted peanut butter.
6.Place mixture into a baking tray and place in the oven for around 18 minutes or untill going golden brown
I topped mine with grenade chocolate spread. You could also add fruit or nuts into the mixture or some chocolate chips
Graze Cocoa Vanilla and Oats Protein Bites 🌟 Got a couple of these to try and so far really impressed 👏 Not too big but perfect as a snack on the go 💁 This had a chocolatey flavour throughout and a soft flapjack texture 💪💛 Would recommend giving them a go 💁
