Hey everyone! Getting real here... the last month has been rough. Sometimes life just piles everything on all at once and you have to accept changes, shift priorities, and take time to rebalance. It’s been such a time. ✨
In the midst of this, I’m making sure to protect my flame and keep spreading that light to others. That, to me, is more important than art. I love art but it is my avenue to connect and shine, and as long as I’m shining I’m still moving in the right direction. ✨
With that being said, I’m hoping to be “back” in November, sharing more new art (yes I’ve still been creating) and updating more in my Etsy and Patreon. In the meantime, I’ve created another account that’s not specific to my art but is my voice and aesthetic. I think you all will like it and I encourage you to check it out and follow. But I hope it reminded him that people care and that on the other side of whatever he’s experiencing there will be a rainbow because the sun still shines. ✨☀️🌈🌧💙

Day 4. Today was full of positivity. Seriously I don’t think a negative thought crossed my mind. .
Why? Well I think a big role that played into my happiness was my husband. He picked up around the house, put dinner in the crockpot, and called me on his “dinner break.” I didn’t have to rush home and worry about making a meal in 5 seconds flat. We avoided the drive thru. *bonus* AND I actually spoke to my husband.
This may seem silly to some of you but I rarely actually see my husband. And if I do it’s at 1230 in the morning when he gets home from work. So I will take all I can get. He is my rock. Even on days he makes me upset. His embrace takes the hurt, worry, frustration away. .
Today was an abundance of LOVE in the form of help. ♥️♥️
If you’re going to reach your highest potential, you have to stay committed. Make up your mind that you’re in it for the long haul. It may be difficult, you may have a good reason to walk away, but don’t take the easy way out. #promotepositivity#justcompliments

“Don't you compare me 'cause there ain't nobody near me..” I used to be super self conscious and wanting to change my body drastically. I talked breast augmentation to erase the effects of motherhood and breastfeeding (collective 2.5 years), liposuction to reduce the mom pouch & sought after laser procedures to remove the stretch marks. Phew, thank goodness that I am over that. I’ve vowed to take my fitness seriously and aim to mold my body with health and fitness. No one's goals are mine, I strive to be a better version of myself daily, each day taking steps towards a more awesome Kat. If I can be a better me for ME, I can most certainly become a better daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, cousin, niece & friend. Stop using someone else’s mold of life to make you popping. Research shows therapy dogs can reduce stress physiologically (cortisol levels) and increase attachment responses that trigger oxytocin — a hormone that increases trust in humans.
Remember to approach her calmly and ask permission to give her pats. Sometimes she needs a little break because being that cute is hard work, right? ☺️
