Eye-tracking provides you with information that is IMPOSSIBLE to extract without the technology. Knowing for sure instead of guessing exactly where people are looking when using your app.☝️
This technology shows you INSIGHTS and BEHAVIOURS, and helps to identify usability failures that in other case might remain hidden. Eye-tracking in a #usability research study can help you to understand:
🔸On what things on the screen people didn’t look at:
🔸Which UI elements distract users attention; 🔸Where the problems lie; 🔸Which content is more attractive and which is not;
🔸How users accomplish goals;
It’s funny how scents, tastes, and environments can remind you of certain times of your life. Earl Grey tea with milk and honey always reminds me of our time together. You used to bring it in a mug to school everyday, and soon after I became an odd piece of furniture in your life, you started bringing two mugs, because I would finish your cup by the time we got out of your car.
Now I can’t drink Earl Grey tea without milk and honey. And this is the first time I’ve had a cup of this in years.
I haven’t spoken to you in close to a year, and I only think about you when I see something that reminds me of you, like the place we had our first kiss, or when I hear that you’re back home visiting.
It’s odd how time can progress a situation, because I never thought I’d get through the shit we put each other through. But it’s been four years, and now the pain I felt is as far away as the love I had for you, and it’s so freeing to know that if I can get through that, I can get through this too.
Thank you for teaching me the lessons I needed to learn, even when I was too young to learn them, and thank you for teaching me that Earl Grey tea with milk and honey will always be bittersweet.
