I have decided to post My product empties (volume 1) and also to remember in the future which products were good👍🏻
Would i repurchase? Inspired by @sheryl526 👍🏻@giorgioarmani Si eau de parfum- definetely, i already have another bottle of this and it is probably the only perfume that i can wear right now ❤️ .
👌🏼Real lasting eyeliner 1 day tattoo- maybe, this is a pretty standard japanese gel eyeliner and it lasted good amount of time, no smudging, though i love trying new ones, i think japanese eyeliners are the best and it costs around 10 bucks. .
👍🏻@mujiusa Light toning water- yes, this is my third bottle, i love this light toner without extra scent on my skin especially in warm weather, althought it might not give a skin that much of a hydration .
👍🏻Kose cosmetics sponge cleaner- yes, this probably is my 4th or 5th bottle, i use this to clean my beautyblender, and its really good without any scent. .
👍🏻@benefitcosmetics Roller lash mascara-also yes, i really like this mascara, i usually dont buy high end mascaras hence we get to use them only for 3 months, but this small size one was really good and i would repurchase. .
👎🏻@esteelauder Advanced Night Repair Eye- No, i purchased this smaller size to try the product, i used almost every night and dont see any difference. .
👎🏻@deciem Ordinary Matrixyl 10%+Ha- No, i bought bunch of ordinary serums to try last year and i dont really see any difference in my skin, i know they are affordable but still i want some improvement. #makeup#makupjunkie#skincare#skincarejunkie#makeupgraveyard#productempties#beautyreviews#giorgioarmanibeauty#giorgioarmaniperfume#benefitcosmetics#rollerlash#mascara#esteelauder#ordinaryskincare#theordinary#muji#mujicosmetics#tattooeyeliner
Empties May - November 2018. Most of these empty containers were dropped off today at the Origins recycle ♻️ container or back2MAC. My favorites were the Christian Dior lip balm, Dr. Brandt DNA facial moisturizer but disliked the super chunky container it came in. My surprising favorite that always guaranteed a Morning of glowing skin is the Peter Thomas Roth night retinol serum. #empties#productempties#peterthomasroth
💎@garnieruk ultimate blends shampoo in honey treasures. I found that it to really strengthen my hair and I love the scent.
💎@growgorgeoushaircare scalp detox. This stuff is amazing for washing out all that build up of that hair product. 💎@soapandglory butter yourself body butter is amazing. To be honest I love all of their body butters and this one smells like graphfruit.
💎@revlon_uk colour stay foundation. I always go back to this foundation and this is the second bottle I have finished. 💎@kueshi_nederland make up remover is amazing. It really does remove all make up without stripping the skin and it smells great.
💎@lorealmakeup infaillable matte primer again gone through 2 of these. It has a light weight texture and really helps to make my make up last longer.
💎@realtechniques beauty sponge. No words needes apart from I love these sponges.
💎@makeuprevolution conceal and define concealer again great product and super affordable.
💎@simpleskin cleansing wips are fab if your on the go and need to wipe away your make up.
💎@lagirlcosmetics pro conceal is another great and affordable concealer.
💎@yourgoodskin balancing skin concentrate is a nice light weight moisturise. I didnt really noice much of a difference to my skin.

Some recent empties: ❄️ Paula’s Choice Skin Balancing Pore Reducing Toner - feels nice but I can’t say I saw any benefits. It did nothing for my pores and didn’t help with hydration. I’d give it a 4/10 and wouldn’t repurchase. ❄️ L’Oréal Ever Creme Deep Nourish Conditioner - I feel like the only positive about this conditioner is that it’s sulfate free. The bottle was WEIRD and hard to squeeze and drive me nuts. The smell was a bit meh, and it didn’t do anything for my hair. 1/10. ❄️ L’Oréal Ever Fresh anti dandruff shampoo. This stuff is pretty great. It’s the only sulfate free dandruff shampoo I’ve found that doesn’t have Salicylic Acid in it (allergic). HOWEVER - the smell is very strong imo (I have chronic migraines and smells are a trigger), and smells like a mans cologne. I’m on the fence about whether I will repurchase. 7/10. ❄️ Hello sensitive toothpaste. Love this stuff! Already repurchased. No complaints beyond it being difficult to find! - 9/10. ❄️ Babo Botanicals Daily Sheer Sunscreen - this was just too thick, and I felt like it just sat on my skin driving me nuts. It was hard to blend in and gave me a bit of a white cast. Wouldn’t repurchase. 2/10.
Part 2 of product empties.
#farmacy Honey Drops moisturizer. I like the way the jar looks, but the lid was so hard to open and close! In terms of the lotion, it wasnt very hydrating at all. My skin felt very dry after an hour. I live in a very dry climate, so this product doesnt work for me. It is very lightweight so if you are very oily or live in a humid place this could work really well.
#glamglow Youthcleanse. This was a nice facial cleanser. It has a nice lather and a pleasant scent. The exfoliation beads in this are really soft and gentle.
#herbalessences Hydrate Coconut Milk Conditioner. This really helps to detangle hair after stepping out of the shower. It smells nice and is a good affordable choice for conditioner.
#bathandbodyworks Aromatherapy body cream in Sleep. Has a really soothing lavender scent and a strong earthiness as well due to the cedarwood. I liked to apply this to my whole body at night before bed. Very moisturizing and such a lovely scent.
#dryoung AC Control U Line Clearing Mist. Really love this spray for my back to keep my skin clear. It has a unique spray that can be used upside down which is super convenient! Have used this product many times and one i always have on hand.
#hask Keratin Protein Flash Blow Dry spray. I have bought this a few times and it is one of the few blow dry sprays that doesnt make hair oily if you apply a lot. It smells nice and really helps hair to dry faster. I dont like to heat dry my hair anymore, so this is nice to help my hair air dry a little faster. I have used this with heat drying before and it really speeds things up!
#equate minoxidil treatments. I prefer the liquid dropper, but couldnt find any of that in my local Walmart so i bought the foam which came in a year supply pack that was a better price. The foam is okay, but i feel like it is harder to get it to rub into the scalp. Overall, i think this product is helping thicken my hair because i have a bunch of little flyaways now that are still growing each day.
#mariobadescu Seaweed Cleansing Soap. This isnt a soap that has lather and has bits of seaweed. It has a very strong scent that will stick to your skin which i am not fond of. In terms of cleansing it wasnt terrible, but i dont feel this works well for oily skin.
#innisfree No Sebum Mineral Powder. The best setting powder of all time. If you have oily skin this is the product for you! Keeps my oil controlled all day long!
#perriconemd Photo Plasma. This is the best daytime moisturizer in my opinion! It has a peach tint that brughtens and spf to protect. It leaves a slightly tacky finish to the skin that is great for foundation. I always get compliments on my skin when i wear this moisturizer. I have bought this over and over.
#ahava The ime to Clear Purifying Mud Mask. This mask has a slight sulphur smell to it and is very oil absorbing. If you have oily skin this can help to clear the pores. It also has some grittiness to help exfoliate when rinsing it off.
Will continue my reviews in a part 2 post. #productempties#projectpan#panning#empties#beautyreview#makeupreview
It’s actually a sad day because my beloved @soldejaneiro bum bum cream is all gone. Won’t be seeing another one of those until I get back to the states 😞.
🎉 @drjart ceramidin liquid - this is my second bottle of this. It’s a perfect extra hydrating step or in summer perfect as a moisturizer under a hydrating spf.
🎊 @eg4ulabs vitamin C serum - this stuff was awesome. It’s a bit intense for sensitive skin but really does it’s job. I’d repurchase when I need a new vit c.
@meetblume day dreamer - super gentle as it says great for sensitive skin or compromised skin. I primarily used it as a gentle morning cleanser also I generally prefer a cleansing water in the morning. .
🎉 @drunkelephant protini - this stuff is amazing and I ordered a full size during the Sephora sale and family will bring it when they visit next month 😄😄
🎊 @cosrx acne pimple master patches - I buy these in bunches because I love them and can’t live without them. Highly recommend for people who deal with any kind of breakout! .
Empties: Skincare Vol. 1 💚
Swipe to see each brands empties and read below to see if I would recommend. 🤔
❇️ @farmacybeauty Green Clean Balm & Bright On Mask definitely yes! Both work so well and make my skin feel so good 😊I am already on my next bottle of each. Clean Bee cleanser was good, but not worth repurchasing.
❇️ @drunkelephant B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Gel and Lippie Balm, again most definitely yes! I love to smoothie the B-Hydra serum with the @drunkelephant Virgin Marula Oil for extra hydration before my moisturizer ❇️ @freshbeauty Rose Deep Hydration Face Cream and Sugar Advanced Lip Therapy, I like them both and would recommend but won’t be repurchasing for myself.
❇️ @biossance Squalene Oil and Vitamin C Rose Oil, I would definitely purchase the full size of both! They feel so good on the skin and sink in quickly. The Peptide Eye Gel I like as its 360 eye safe and can be used as a primer, but it’s not quite hydrating enough for me. ❇️ @caudalie moisturizing Cream and @renskincare Evercalm Day Cream, eh, I liked them and but I like other @caudalie moisturizers better than this one and the @renskincare one wasn’t quite hydrating enough for me.
#empties and what will I buy again?? Listed from best to worst. 1) Life Flo Pure Shea Butter. This one is unrefined so it works way better than the refined ones. I use it on my hands, face and feet, even under my eyes. It is cooling on the skin! A pure ingredient at its best! It does smell funny but its natural with no fragrance. This is my 2nd empty and I already purchased a new one. 2) Natures Organics Australian Pure Beauty Sensitive Sorbolene. This product is a basic sorbolene but is really great for daily use and doesn't irritate the skin even directly after shaving. My skin feels moisturised all day and its only $6! The bottle is recyclable, there is no added fragrance and it contains macadania oil. I already purchased a new bottle. 3) Mitchum clinical strength deodorant. This works better than the rexona one. It really keeps you dry and stink free. I purchased this multiple times over the last few years but I've recently changed to an aluminium free deo so won't repurchase 4) Lancer Omega Hydrating Oil 15ml sample. This is amazingly hydrating and really replenished my skin. It sat really well under makeup too. It's very pricey though so I'm sticking to my life basics oils. 5) Toni and Guy Casual Forming Spray gel. This worked so well on my 4 yr olds hair to give a natural styled look without feeling greasy or hard. The style was short lived though. I'm not repurchasing at the minute 6) Lacura (aldi brand) mature skin makeup remover wipes. They are overly scented, smell like grandmas soap and irritated my eyes. A definite no from me.
🍦Do you use your products well past their Period-After-Opening? Here are my recent product empties & products that are reaching their period-after-opening expiry (~12 months) #reviewXbbt
@innisfreesingapore Apple Seed Cleansing Cream (Reviewed on blog)
As mentioned before, this doesn’t remove makeup well if you just apply it dry on the face with your hands. It removes much better with dry face and using a cotton pad.
😐 Not repurchasing
@innisfreesingapore Daily UV Protection Cream in Mild SPF 35 PA++ (Reviewed on blog)
Great under makeup, affordable, physical sunscreen (no Zinc Oxide though, but has Titanium Dioxide and that only gives partial protection against UVA rays)
😊 Will probably repurchase for daily home use/short errand days
@garniersg Micellar Cleansing Water (for oily, acne prone skin)
Great to remove residual makeup or sunscreen that’s hard to budge. Doesn’t irritate my skin.
🙂 Interested to try other micellar cleansing water so I may or may not repurchase!
@pyunkangyul Essence Toner (Reviewed on blog)
I’m kinda sad that this has finished 😭 it’s the product that you never really thought you’d like a lot till it’s gone lol. With that being said...
😊 Will repurchase next time!
@lucidolsg Argan Rich Hair Treatment Oil
I like how this doesn’t make my hair weigh down and it tames my frizziness a little better than other oils I’ve tried.
☺️ Probably will try another product from their Argan Hair Oil line!
@innisfreesingapore Daily UV Protection Cream in No Sebum SPF 35 PA+++ (Reviewed on blog)
If I’m not wrong, this has probably gone off the shelves of innisfree because they’re probably coming up with a new one? But I didn’t finish this and didn’t exactly like it because it’s pretty drying for me and yeah full review on the blog if you’re interested 😅
Somehow I’ve got 3 innisfree products here and yeah not surprised 😂 I like how I can recycle their skincare products too.
Have you tried any of the products mentioned? Which did you like?
I recently used up some products... I’m just going to comment on a few that stand out to me.
@beccacosmetics Backlight Priming filter adds a nice glow and is moisturizing. Would buy again but it’s kinda expensive. Luckily, Ulta occasionally has it on sale.
@devacurl Ultra Defining Gel. Holy grail gel. Will always buy and recommend.
@dior Forever foundation- this looked beautiful! I don’t think I could pay the price for it though because I don’t really gravitate towards full coverage foundation. When I want something like this, I’ll use my @urbandecay Naked Skin foundation.
@cerave Eye Repair Cream - Decent eye cream. It may sound excessive, but I use two eye creams in the morning, one with good for you stuff and a hydrating one on top. This one is a good first moisturizer. In the winter, this is definitely not moisturizing enough to wear alone for me. Would repurchase but not ready for it yet.
@burtsbees Pumpkin Spice lip balm - always a good idea but I have found some I like better that I like better.
@pacifica makeup wipes - got these for traveling and they weren’t great. I’ve decided that wipes are not for me. I think they are wasteful and I hate creating more waste than I already do. I bought some reusable cotton pads and will use micellar water to remove makeup if I can’t use a cleanser.
I recently used up some products... .
@benefit Roller Lash Mascara - I like this mascara, but lately I have preferred more volumizing mascaras. Would buy again if it were on sale... maybe. There are so many good drugstore mascaras it’s hard to spend over $20.
Erno Laszlo Oil Cleanser - thus came as part of a double cleanse duo (deluxe sample) and I like the soap it came with, but I felt this oil cleanser was not great. Wouldn’t purchase it.
Makeup Forever Hydrating Primer - I have really dry skin and prefer hydrating primers. I really liked this but I have other ones that I would choose over this. Given the choice, I will always choose cruelty free and this is not. First Aid Beauty has a coconut water primer that I like better and is cruelty free.
@drbrandt Pores No More Pore Refiner Primer - This is a deluxe sized sample that lasted a long time and was decent. I think it was old and started making my foundation look weird so I stopped using it. Did blur my pores but wasn’t good enough for me to consider purchasing. So, meh.
This hydrating under-eye cream it’s amazing, 100% recommended. even though it was a sample size it lasted me around 4 weeks, you only need a very small amount. It absorbs quickly, has no smell what so ever and leaves your under-eye area feeling super smooth . Thanks @ipsy. #productempties#reviews#skincare#eyecream#ipsy
Recent product empties:
.🌸#shiseido vita voltage shampoo. This shampoo is sooooo good! When you apply this shampoo, it literally invigorates you and wakes you up. And the feeling actually lasted after you stepped out of the shower. Will definitely repurchase! 💯
.🌸 #thebodyshop seaweed oil-balancing toner. I do have combination/oily skin and I have actually tried this before months ago. I bought it again because I thought I liked the product. But now I know exfoliating toners work best for me. This toner works okay but it was mild for me. I didn't feel as clean as I wanted to.
.🌸#arcona cranberry toner. I love this toner! I love the fresh cranberry smell and the liquid itself looks magical when u shake the bottle haha. Will definitely repurchase. And they also have a to-go pad version which I love. So easy to use. 💯
.🌸#sulwhasoo snowise ex whitening water. I love this toner too! I love the white ginseng/ spa-like smell. My skin did feel clean and smooth. Will definitely repurchase. 💯
.🌸#sulwhasoo snowise ex uv protection cream. This was also nice to use. But I found it heavy for my liking.
.🌸#sulwhasoo snowise ex cleansing foam. I love this facial wash. Also has that lovely white ginseng/spa-like smell and it was just nice to use. Will definitely repurchase. 💯
I recently used up some products... .
@acure deep root conditioner - I like this - but I don’t think it’s necessary. It felt a little cooling but I didn’t notice any difference. Didn’t make my roots greasy but I have a dryer scalp. I’m kinda, meh about this. It’s just an extra step I. The shower I don’t need.
Glam glow hydrating mask - Smells wonderful and feels great! Is it worth $60+? Nah. If you have the money... sure
@makeupforever Step 1 primer - smoothing. I really like this. Similar to the Benefit porefessional. I have big pores in my forehead and around my nose and it does a decent job. I’m not going to repurchase bc I have so many other samples to get through, but would recommend.
bliss Makeup Melt sample - I got this the other day from Ulta and I don’t like it. As a makeup remover it is not good. Still had to use an eye makeup remover. As a cleanser, it burned my eyes and my face didn’t feel clean. Pass
@marykayus Timewise Day Solution Sunscreen spf 35 This is a good SPF. Beautypedia gave this a good review and it sits well on my moisturizer and under my makeup. Recommend.

Haircare Empties! 💁🏼🗑 1️⃣ #ogx#coconutoilmiracleshampoo - when I first tried this shampoo, I loved it! It didn't irritate or dry out my scalp and it made my hair feel really soft. The scent of the product is also lovely. I have bought a few bottles of this, but the last time I used it it just didn't seem to work for me anymore. I got build-up on my scalp and it felt irritated. I might try it again in the future but am in the market for something new right now. Anybody else have this experience where a shampoo works for awhile, and then it doesn't? 😕
2️⃣ #kerastase#nutritivefondantmagistral conditioner - overpriced. Wasn't particularly moisturizing or detangling. Would not buy again. 👎🏻 3️⃣ #alternacaviar#replenishingmoistureco ditioner - this was highly recommended, along with the shampoo. I've not noticed anything significant with this. Maybe I need the formula for damaged hair (even though all my color is practically grown out now). I would try the other formula, but likely would not repurchase this one. My daughter is finishing up the shampoo.
4️⃣ #batiste#dryshampoo - love them. Always. 👍🏻 5️⃣ #elemis#revitaliseme shampoo and conditioner - I got these from a hotel in Edinburgh over the summer. I like a good mini. This was actually very good quality shampoo and conditioner. I enjoyed the spa-like scent!
My October empties...
Surprisingly I would actually repurchase most of these items.
@olehenriksen toner (worked well controlling my oily t-zone but definitely pricey)
@itcosmetics wipes remove makeup well and don’t irritate my sensitive eyes
@dove deodorant smells amazing and keeps you dry
@lorealmakeup Cool match is one of my holy grail drugstore foundations
@givenchyofficial Mascara primer makes my lashes look super long but it does tend to clump... the mascara works well on my bottom lashes
@urbandecaycosmetics All Nighter is my holy grail setting spray. This is probably like the 50th bottle that I’ve gone through. Lol.
This is like my 20th bottle of @officialkinkycurly Knot Today since I’ve been natural. My hair loves this stuff!
The #zhou natural water pills didn’t work for me
@ogx_beauty In shower body oil is so bomb! It’s awesome for dry winter skin. •
September AND October 2018 #productempties ! Here are my short #makeupreview below:
Equate Baby Wash & Shampoo: For makeup brush cleaning - repurchased!
BBW Waikiki Beach Coconut Body Wash & Lotion: Will repurchase - lovely scent.
Neutrogena Ultra Gentle Daily Cleanser: Holy grail - repurchased!
Pond's Cold Cream Cleanser: Holy grail makeup remover - repurchased!
Neutrogena Rapid Clear Acne Defense Face Lotion: Holy grail chemical exfoliant - repurchased!
Equate Beauty Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover: Holy grail - repurchased!
ELF Lip Exfoliator: Holy grail - will repurchase!
Wet N Wild Photofocus Matte Face Primer: I've decided primers do nothing for me. Will not repurchase.
Besame Cashmere Foundation Stick in Bisque: This makes me break out so will not repurchase.
Wet N Wild Mega Cushion Foundation in Light Ivory: Just not enough coverage - good when my skin is clear but it's been acting up. Will not repurchase right now.
FLOWER Beauty Miracle Matte Universal Finishing Pressed Powder: Its not bad... it's just not great. Liked the Lunatick one better. Decluttering.
Milani Make It Last Setting Spray: Holy grail - will repurchase soon!
@originsuk empties - I am constantly under the impression that I rarely finish products and just keep buying new ones (got my excessive beauty collection to show for it), so it actually feels good to find myself with a pile of empties. Although there are some hits&misses in the Origins pile, I love their values - using high-quality natural ingredients and being free of parabens, petroleum, paraffin and a bunch of other Ps I can’t pronunce.⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀• Active Charcoal Mask to Clear Pores. 100ml. £27. Considering my skin is dry, I usually stay away from charcoal masks, since they can make my face feel extra tight and flaky. BUT, I really enjoyed this one, when using a light layer and not leaving it on for too long. 3/5 ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀• Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay. 100ml. £27. This product is so unique in my experience, as it deeply cleans my skin without causing it to dehydrate. Not as harsh as a charcoal mask, it gently detoxifies the skin while it dries down, but exfoliating Jojoba beads also refine texture and make your skin extra bright and soft. Definitely goes straight to ‘’to repurchase’’ list. 5/5 ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀• High-Potency Night-A-Mins moisturiser. 50ml. £30. The best night cream ever. If you have dry skin this little jar will change your life overnight. Refreshing zesty scent, not heavy, yet rich and soaks in well, so you wake up with nourished and healthy-looking skin. They have recently reformulated it (god knows why) but I am interested in trying out the new one. 5/5 ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀• GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream to Brighten and Depuff. 15ml. £22. I meeeean, brighten? Yeah, if you’re referring to the sparkles. Looks weird underneath makeup because of the unnecessary sheen (I like my skincare glitter-free, thank you). The price tag guilted me into using it up but I saw no significant difference in my under-eye area. 1/5 ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀• GinZing Energy-Boosting moisturizer. I am not sure if this is still available, but I wouldn’t dwell on it. It was okay at best, but definitely not hydrating enough during winter. 2/5
Just realized I didn’t circle back with y’all about my other #beautyfavorites and #productempties ! Sorry for leaving that unintentional cliff-hanger, lol! Scroll to the ▶️ to see the last pic of the most note-worthy #skincareproducts that I can’t live without including @katesomervilleskincare @aesopskincare 👍🏻 I will forever repurchase these because they simply WORK in keeping my acne, sensitivity and redness manageable even on my most stressful days! Also, can we talk about how amazing the @laneige_us lip mask is? I also love their water mask! Def my new favorite line of Asian skincare!!! ❤️👍🏻 #skincarecommunity
