A weekend in Shoreditch. I have been in London before so I already know the famous attraction spots. So I wanted to fell more local this time, hanging out in shoreditch. Here alone is enough to see and do for a weekend. I could also easily have used 2-3 days more.
For the flight I didn't know for which airport in London easiest to go to Shoreditch. So I did choose my flight only based on price and best timing for me. It was Norwegian.com departing Copenhagen - London Gatwick 17,30, arriving 20,00. So I didn't had to take of from work Friday, and I did arrive at 21,30 in Shoreditch, so in good time to go for a dinner, and still able to enjoy an evening.
I felt it easy to go from Gatwick airport to shoreditch; one train for £10,50 and a taxi from London Bridge station to Shoreditch for £10,00. At the day of departure I took the buss instead, which actually felt easier and much cheaper for only £1,58, and I think also faster! Be aware that busses don't accept cash, so you need a wireless credit card and I think only possible to pay for one person with each card!? Besides hanging out for relaxing in Shoreditch house, I was around looking at street art, at the local markets, antique market, eating street food, having gastronomic dinner, doing local pubs, eating healthy which is very easy with many organic and vegan friendly places, hanging out at cafes, etc..
