Nutrition is 80% of the package when it comes to getting healthy and losing weight. Focusing on my nutrition lately as opposed to putting so much pressure on my workouts has been amazing and has helped boost my results!
Since I have more time to prepare healthy meals instead of running home from work to make sure I get a workout in, forcing myself to make quicker but not necessarily healthier dinner choices, I have been experimenting with some new twists on my favorite foods! To find out more about my program send me a message and/or stay tuned for more healthy meal inspirations! .
So much power in this statement. Recently I’ve discovered how much I obsess over helping those around me, making sure my environment, home and world looks okay...from the outside, at least. But most days I’m a mess internally. I feel as if I help everyone and everything around me that I will be okay. I’m a natural caretaker and in every aspect of my life that is what I focus on.
Now it’s time to really focus on my own healing so I can truly illuminate my gifts and heart with others.
Can anyone else relate? 🙌

I am SO close to having my first DonorsChoose project funded for my class! Right now donations are being DOUBLED with the code RIPPLE so please share our project! You never know how your reach will go to help our project get noticed!
Here’s a poem I use to help preschoolers learn to zipper their jacket:
“This is the baby, this is the bed. Put the baby in the bed, pull up the covers over his head!”
While not politically correct, this really gave the children a base for zipping their own coats. When you say “This the baby”, you gesture to the small metal part at the bottom. When you say “This the bed”, you point to the indent in the zipper. Place the “baby” in the “bed” and zip up! :-)
