Waking up after several days in a heavy deficit and only 6 hours of sleep, it is safe to say i did NOT expect to feel good or energised.
But I did 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️ Potentially a combination of the finishing line being in reach, meeting new people lately who just fits my life mould perfectly or the good feels a couple of days of work brings. I don’t know and I don’t care - I am riding that bad boy wave today!

Why on earth did it take me so long to try these?!? Received my order from @bigbitecreations a week ago and have been giving my silicone baking mats a workout.
My verdict...very easy to use. They sit in the tray well without moving around. They fit my trays well, even in my large baking trays they still cover the edges. Easy to clean and you just have to wipe or hang dry.
I was worried they wouldn’t brown or caramelise vegetables but they definitely do.
So far I have used them for bread, muesli bars, zucchini slice and roasted veg.
Not sure how they would fare for a delicate round cake but for my everyday baking these will be fab.
So glad to have found these as I am slowly reducing single use products in my kitchen. Not only to they tick the zero waste box but they make sense even if you don’t care about reducing waste. I got 3 large size mats for $30 which is what I would spend on baking paper for the year. And I am sold on reducing the mental and physical energy of running out of something and having to go get it from the shops. @bigbitecreations has a very easy site to use, quick delivery and even threw in a free mushroom produce bag.

Food prep is not just all the cooking - it's literally the "prepping". I buy all my meat in bulk and separate it all out before I cook. Tonight I opened some chicken for dinner. Before I even start, I get out my handy dandy scale and start gettin' organized 🤣 If you don't have a food scale, I HIGHLY recommend you get one. I use it every single day! The one I have is actually called "Perfect Bake" and it's for baking: you just toss a bowl on top and add all ingredients by weight. It's pretty cool! But I don't use it for that, I use it to measure out my ounces in meat. So! First thing I do with my chicken is clean up each piece - cut off all that nasty white junk. Then, I weigh it out and put in separate freezer bags (writing the weight with a permanent marker, of course). Now I can either use in the next couple of days or freeze for later.
