Try out these Snickers Overnight Oats. ✅ ½ cup oats (use gluten free if preferred) ✅4.75 fl oz. unsweetened almond milk ✅1 tbsp. crunchy peanut butter ✅¼ cup vanilla flavor whey or rice protein powder (optional) ✅1 tsp. chia seeds
✅2 tsps. maple syrup
✅2 squares dark chocolate (minimum 70% cocoa), grated to garnish
✅8 salted peanuts 
Serves 1 Per serving: 569 calories 25g fat 52g carbs 34g protein 
Mix all of the ingredients in a sealable container, reserving a small amount of grated chocolate for the topping. 
Mix well. Seal the container and refrigerate for 5 hours or overnight. 
Mix well and add more milk if required, to achieve desired consistency. 
Transfer to a serving bowl and top with the peanuts and remaining dark chocolate. Serve.

Gratitude....I’m completely overwhelmed right now. I started tonight with over 60 extra meals plus all the yogurt, muffins, etc and was sure we would be stuck eating it for breakfast lunch and dinner till we couldn’t stand it because I had planned too much. Within an hour almost everything was gone. I don’t even have words to express how I am feeling. The support this business has had in the 2 short months I have been open is beyond anything I imagined. Today started out a little rough with me wondering if I had made the right decision to share my cooking and put something so personal out there (that might seem silly but food is my love language so it’s hard sometimes). I am ending this day with a completely different mindset because of all of you!! I will expand next week so I don’t have to send people away empty handed because I’m learning to trust that if I cook it you will come! .

Gratitude....I’m completely overwhelmed right now. I started tonight with over 60 extra meals plus all the yogurt, muffins, etc and was sure we would be stuck eating it for breakfast lunch and dinner till we couldn’t stand it because I had planned too much. Within an hour almost everything was gone. I don’t even have words to express how I am feeling. The support this business has had in the 2 short months I have been open is beyond anything I imagined. Today started out a little rough with me wondering if I had made the right decision to share my cooking and put something so personal out there (that might seem silly but food is my love language so it’s hard sometimes). These are two of my faves from @traderjoes. The Everyday tastes great on pretty much any meat (turkey, beef, chicken..) & I like using the Lemon Pepper for chicken & fish.

☝️Tip: Look for kinds with sea salt or no salt (you can always add your own). Some are way too high in regular table salt, which is heavily processed and doesn’t contain the healthy minerals that sea or pink salt do.

I always come home from work ravenous. I know this is my weakest time and when it’s most for me to have something easy to grab and eat. If I start rummaging for food it never ends well (oh hello chocolate....). Plan ahead for the time of day you tend to binge and it’s a lot easier to make a good choice!

Really connecting to the lived experience of my life... the embodiment of this being that is me. Because soon enough it will be January and cold and I’ll be tired of the snow and I’ll utter negative comments about the drivers and the poor snow plowing skills (as if I could do better). Soon enough I’ll say, “I can’t wait for summer!” at the end of a cold February. ⁣

So for today, for as often as I can, I will keep coming back to my body. My breath. The smell of cut grass, the taste of fresh, in-season berries, the sight of a bright blue sky with dense white clouds splashed on the canvas, the sounds of so many birds in chorus with children splashing and laughing and leaves rustling, and the feel of the warm summer breeze on my bare skin. ⁣

This too shall pass. And so, as much as I can, I will be all here, on this summer day. After I put this phone away. ⁣

Last week was an interesting week for me

I took a week long audit of myself and came to some interesting conclusions 🤔
.
When someone asks me about my day, the typical response is "Wow. You sound busy" 🐝
.
However, the truth is, I'm really NOT!
.
On average, over the past 7 to 10 days, I've found approx 5 hours, give or take, where I'm essentially just 100% unproductive in my day 😶
.
Some days it was much higher! And don't get me started on days I don't have to work! .
Also, a lot of the time 🕔 I spend on certain tasks are spent actually REAPEATING the same tasks multiple times during the week
.
Things that could easily be compartmentalized into a one time thing weekly!
.
I've also realized that there are certain things in my life I need to consider automating and possibly outsourcing (think cleaning my apartment as one 😂)
.
The amount of time I not only have, but could eventually free up, is pretty significant 📈
.
This is time I could spend on
.
📌 Furthering my education (someone say PHD!? 🤔😂)
📌 Adding to my credentials 📌 Building a business/businesses! (Already have plans!)
📌 Furthering my career (once I choose one. Haha)
📌 Reading more 📚 and writing more ✏
📌 Spending time with my nephew
📌 Hanging out with friends/building new relationships 📌Training more!
📌 and most importantly, eating more 🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕

🌱 Dopo numerose richieste ho dedicato una cenetta anche gli amici vegan. 🌱 Premetto: non seguo un'alimentazione vegana ma sono abbastanza esperta perché, oltre ad amare la conoscenza per diversi stili alimentari, in passato sono stata vegetariana per 7 anni 🌱 Non credo che l'alimentazione vegana sia più salutare di quella onnivora ma credo sia una scelta etica di tutto rispetto. 🌱 Passiamo alla ricetta: 100gr di tempeh (contengono circa 20gr di proteine, circa 6gr di grassi e circa 6 di carboidrati) che piastrerete fino a farlo dorare, in una padella unta e asciugata con la carta, spezie miste (a me piace molto il curry) e poco sale. Per l'hummus frullate dei ceci in scatola dopo averli sciacquati e scolati con del succo di limone, della salsa tahin chiara (o scura, come preferite), sale e pepe. Andateci piano con questo..la salsa tahin è praticamente sesamo ridotto in crema, quindi è molto buona ma molto grassa. Per le verdure vi basterà infornare a forno già caldo a 200gradi, ben disposti su un foglio di carta forno, zucchine, funghi, peperoni e asparagi. Non c'è bisogno di olio. Solo sale e una spolverata di curry verde. Il tempo di cottura delle verdure può variare secondo il gusto. Io di solito le tengo circa 20 minuti.

NUTRITION is easy. Whether your goal is Fat Loss, Muscle/Strength gain, or Maintaining whatcha already got

✔ Eat the right amount of calories per your goal
✔ Focus on small sustainable deficits/surpluses (again, per your goal) to limit either too much Fat gain or loss of Lean Body Mass
✔ Get adequate amounts of protein ✔ Fill remaining calories with carbs or fats in whatever amounts you prefer. You like a high fat Keto diet? Do it! You prefer higher carbs!? That's just as good! ✔ Follow a meal frequency and eating schedule that fits YOUR lifestyle! You want to eat 8 times a day? That's good for you. Don't really care for breakfast or eating early because you're really NOT hungry? Try intermittent fasting or just simply eat when you feel like it. You can eat 1 meal a day (on the opposite end of the extreme) and get the exact same results as the guy eating 6! (Many people are doing it)

A raspagem da língua 👅 pode ser uma delas pois, ajuda a remover 30% mais compostos de enxofre voláteis que são produzidos na boca e muitas vezes são os componentes primários do mau hálito. Isso não substitui a escovação e também nem sempre é suficiente. . 
Uma opção 🔝 para combatê-la é o #Champorus (um fitoativo obtido do Champignon🍄) que inibe diretamente a produção de substâncias tóxicas que causam o mau odor que vem lá do trato gastrointestinal ... Como mecanismo de ação temos a inibição da geração de nitrogênio amoniacal🤢 e metilmercaptano🤢, sendo uma excelente solução para pessoas que sofrem de halitose🗣🐆 (e maus odores corporais👃🏼💀) ou, para sugerir sutilmente 😏 para aquele seu amigo que não sabe que os outros sofrem por ele 🗣🙊 #ficaadica 🤣

This is my latest Costco find. Not because it has super great macros or anything.....it’s just a chip.....but the flavor and the crunch 🙌. Paired with guacamole it is even better. At first glance the ingredient list seemed way too long to possibly be made from clean simple ingredients but it’s long because everything has to say ‘organic’ and there are so many spices to list (hence the amazing flavor!). This is usually how 100% of our conversations about workouts and business go. (I'm the heart, in case anyone was wondering)😂 I was raised with an unrevokable work ethic, which only made sense if extreme risks were taken. BODability was a big risk at the time that the Vaughan location @bodability was opened, it was myself and eventually only 1 other practitioner that spent time in this massive facility. There were many moments of anxiety that this wouldn't work, but then I remembered my father saying "Stop thinking about the end, there's only an end of you create it". He's right! Here we are 3 years later with 5 amazing therapists/coaches in house and a brand ambassador who loves putting her sweat and tears into every corner at BOD.

So basically instead of 3x4 at say 80%1RM you can do 4x1-1-1-1 @85%1RM.

A forgotten way to train: Cluster sets. So basically instead of 3x4 at say 80%1RM you can do 4x1-1-1-1 @85%1RM. < So the goal here is to complete reps in as little time as possible. But ultimately take a small rest period between each one. You want roughly around 10 seconds per rep. < The benefit is that you can use a weight that may normally be a tough set of 4 and perform 4 well executed reps. One of our favorite dinners is Greek night. It’s simple - lemon garlic grilled chicken, hummus, Greek salad, fresh pita, @aladdinseatery hot sauce and tabbouleh. 
Leftovers are amazing too!
Dressing:
1/2 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tablespoon sumac<<key ingredient>>
1 lemon
Salt
Pepper
Salad:
Olive oil
3/4 cup bulgar 
1 1/2 cups water
Salt
1 1/2 cup diced cucumbers
1 cup halved cherry tomatoes
1/4 cup minced fresh Italian parsley
3 tablespoons minced fresh mint
3 green onions, tops and bottoms discarded and thinly sliced
1 cup cubed feta (2 ounces)
Handful pita chips, broken up (optional)
Directions
In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, red wine vinegar, minced garlic, sumac and juice from 1 lemon. Salt and pepper to taste. (I added about 1 1/2 teaspoons salt and a few pinches of pepper.) Set aside.
Place a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add a few teaspoons of oil and when hot, add the bulgar; stirring it frequently, toast it for 1-2 minutes. To the bulgar, add 1 1/2 cups water and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Cook for 10 minutes, or until the water is evaporated and tender. Fluff with a fork and set aside; cool to room temperature.
Mix with dressing and all veggies and serve! 
Enjoy!
