The Apostle Paul reminds us to pray for our Leaders and those in authority. .
“I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior.” (1 Timothy 2:1-3, NIV)
In Jesus name let’s pray for our Leaders and the minds of our leaders to endure, stand and declare the promises and Word of God over the warfare and weapons that have formed against them. We know that no weapon will prosper even though it was formed in Jesus name...
“No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.” (Isaiah 54:17, KJV)

Hard to believe this was 17 years ago. Those of us who were around probably remember exactly where we were & what we were doing when this tragedy occurred. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the families who were directly affected by this attack, and we pray also for our nations leaders, that they may continue to humbly protect & serve our wonderful country. God Bless America. #neverforget#prayforourleaders#godblessamerica
I have so many thoughts about today. It’s hard to put into words. That day wrecked me. Such evil and heartbreak I will never fully understand.
What I know is that I love my country! I take pride in being an American! It hurts my heart that others don’t feel the same. I am thankful to everyone who has served and died so that we could live freely.
I pray constantly for our nation, that it would once again understand what “one nation, under God” truly means.
Found this old photo of my kids and it brought me to tears. These are my towers, my pillars, my heart, these children are who I pray for everyday. I pray that they would grow up hating what is evil and loving what is right. I pray most importantly that they would show the world Jesus by becoming more like Him. He loves them and He loves you too. #GodblessAmerica#neverforget#911#myheart#proudamerican#prayforamerica#prayforourleaders#rememberthefallen
For the past few months, I have been doing my personal morning devotion by watching a series of sermons/lessons on Revelation, by Dr David Jeremiah on @youtube . It is an in depth study, taking it verse by verse. Because I learn better by taking notes and highlighting verses in my Bible, some 1 hour sermons ended up being 2-3 days of devotions. I am on chapter 22. Dr Jeremiah is a wonderful teacher! However, when I went online to do today's devotion, this is what came up. His sermons were removed. There were tons of his sermons on there on different topics. When I went to my subscription page to see if I could go in from there, I got the same message. I went to my history to see if I could get them through there, and they were ALL gone from my history! It's like I never have watched even 1 sermon. Then went to my Turning Point subscription, and there were exactly 10 sermons, all of which I had already watched and done devotions on. I searched his name and got the same message, they have been removed. This is #censorship !! If we do not go to the polls in November and vote in Republicans, this will get even worse!! They are taking away our Freedom! And for now it is only Conservatives that are being silenced, but soon, it will spill over into the middle and left of the isle too! They THINK this is a great thing. They THINK their feelings are facts and should be law. But that is wrong. Our feelings deceive us all. I don't think they realize how dangerous a precedent they are setting. Private companies have the right to do what they want. Public companies don't. #censorship harms everyone in the country. They cannot see very far into the future. But, when one person loses their Freedom, we all do! #VoteRepublican2018#votered#republicanswhodontvoteelectdemocrats#prayforourleaders#PrayforAmerica#prayforourworld
Spent a very memorable evening last night at the White House at the Evangelical Leadership Dinner. Was able to meet @jentezen and his wife @cherisefranklin. So excited to have Jentezen Franklyn speak for our @jumpstartconference May 20-22, 2019.
Pastors have a unique and oftentimes intricate mandate to lead their community to Christ as they follow him in their own lives. While our pastors carry their calling with grace, we must remember that they are human too. Sometimes they need a shoulder to cry on, an encouraging word, a caring gesture and furthermore, they need our continuous support and prayers.
Our hearts go out to @InlandHillsChurch as they mourn the untimely loss of their Pastor, Andrew Stoecklein. May his wife, family and church family find peace during this difficult time.
Let us be encouraged to pray for our leaders, Pastor Rod and Lady Jacquelyne Lumpkin daily and never skip an opportunity to let them know that their heart for this ministry is appreciated.
This is Pastor Drew from Inland Hills Church in Chino, California. He died by suicide this weekend. 💔 Help me pray for his family and church. 🙏🏽 Let me share that just because you love Jesus, have the humbling opportunity to speak into others week after week, or are a leader or Pastor in a church, that it will exempt you from suffering and battling mental illness. THIS IS REAL. You can go on and on about how he should’ve dealt with his anxiety and depression, but he did what he felt was his only option. I would love to encourage us all, especially in the church, to not turn a blind eye to the true issues we deal with. Let’s take care of ourselves and each other. We have to see other in a deep way, not just superficially. We have to listen, and not be so quick to throw a bible verse or prayer in as a bandaid. If someone is vulnerable enough to begin sharing don’t diminish what they’re experiencing because of your lack of knowledge on the subject. EMPATHY is powerful! The bible says to cry with those who cry and laugh with those who laugh. Depression and anxiety is something that many pastors and leaders struggle with. In my time doing Mental Health workshops in rehab centers, juvenile detention centers, leadership conferences in churches and more, many people express their pain and struggles and don’t speak up because of the stigma involved that doesn’t allow them to speak up because of how we respond due to our lack of knowledge in this area. This is unacceptable because suicide is 100% preventable, and every time I hear about a suicide I get so hurt and angry! Let’s listen, let’s look at others beyond the superficial, and let’s love, Love, LOVE! 💚 Ask the hard questions, be that annoying and nosey friend and let’s get educated. I’ll be sharing more on suicide and mental health!
It's easy to be cynical when our leaders disappoint us. A real challenge for many of us will be how we carry ourselves around the water cooler this week. We have a right, and an obligation to be part of the political process, and express our opinions. But we also have an opportunity to be different - strangers and exiles - holy, because he is holy.
"Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God."
As I look back at this experience of visiting the Department of Justice along with 50 pastors and community leaders from around the country, I remember how we prayed and laid hands on then Attorney General, John Ashcroft, and that it didn’t matter that our political affiliations were different. It was an experience I will never forget. Now more than ever with the abuse of power and authority being exposed, we must pray for our leaders. Though we don’t agree with everything our leaders do or say, we are instructed in scripture to pray for them. It pleases God when we pray for leaders. Join me in praying for parents, teachers, pastors, athletes, coaches, law enforcement, firefighters, city, state and federal government officials and people in authority all over the world. Take 1 minute today and ask God to give leaders wisdom and compassion to lead with diligence. Ask God to bless leaders and their families, surround them with influences who walk in the Spirit and will hold them accountable for doing what is right.
1 Timothy 3: 1 - 3. 🙏🏼Thank you!
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we rise today with thanksgiving. We are grateful to You for our lives, health, strength, our safety, and Your provision. We pray for our cities and states, we pray for peace to be in the streets, in each home, and in our schools. We pray for the prosperity of businesses and that our government officials would make more deals that would be a blessing to our economy and to the people. We pray for stability in our economy and righteous dealings in industry. We pray for unity in our state, in our government, and in the local church. Let us, our children, and our children's children be able to live peaceful, productive, and godly lives. We thank You in advance. Amen.
I was a teacher and director for years. I know the energy, courage, time, sacrifice, creativity, and perseverance it takes to teach well.💪 Many of you know it, too. .. And yet, when it comes to back-to-school, and even throughout the school year, I can get super-focused👀 on praying only for my kids.
But yikes, please don’t let me forget to pray for their leaders too!🙏 These are the people who are guiding my kids, not only in their academics, but potentially their future careers, their attitudes, and their character!😲 These are the other adults who will speak into my child’s life over the next year. ..
On Friday mornings, the TtT team meets early to pray.💚 Tomorrow, we’ll dedicate that time to pray for the teachers and leaders in our kids’ schools.👩🏫 Comment below with the name of your teachers or school, and we’ll be sure to include them in our prayers!
Want to pray on your own too? Head over to our blog (link in profile) for a prayer, written by Mary Carver. If you need help finding the words, or if you can't think straight from all the paperwork you've had to fill out this week😉, this is it. 💜Anna

Adore! "Paul and Barnabas appointed elders to the them in the church and with prayers and fast commit them to the lord in who they had put their trust". Acts 14:23
" I ate no choise food,no meet no wine touch my lips and i used no lotion until tree weeks were over". Daniel 10 :3 "Even now declares the Lord, return to me with All your heart with fasting, weeping and morning". Joel 2:12 "When I heard these thing i sat down and wept for some day I mourning and fasted and pray before the God of heaven".Nehemiah 1:4
May friend ako, trying to get license sa LTO yung dadaan sa mahabang proseso. Then another friend said, may kakilala ko sa LTO kesa nagaaksaya ka ng oras sa pagpila sa kanya mo na lang pa process makukuha mo agad card mo kahit walang exam... blah, blah... Sa tingin ko, going through the process is a humble act of submission to authority.
Hindi ako exempted sa corruption issues, we all are. But if we all know that we have a role to play, ang laban ng corruption ay hindi lamang sa pangulo, kundi laban sa ating mga sarili na din. We cannot change people and ourselves, but God can!
Kaya't sa darating na eleksyon, wag nyo pong kalimutan ang inyong lingkod (juk lang)😂
Today, on Election Day, we pray for the men and women who are being chosen today to represent us locally and each party’s nominee in state-wide November races. Our Kingdom is not of this world, yet we realize we are commanded to pray for those in power - those that are champions of good as well as those may oppose our values. If Paul and Peter could pray for Caesar in the midst of persecution, we can pray for all those that seek to govern us. #lebcoc#prayercalendar#prayforourleaders#prayforourcommunity#electionday#election2018
Look around and see the leaders in your life: past & present. Pray for them!
If one leader falls, then so do many of their followers. Pray for leaders to succeed. Don’t sit around waiting for them to skin their knee. Position them for success by lifting them up from your knees. .
When a priest or church leader sinned back in Moses’ day, it brought guilt on the people (Lev. 4:3)...more than themselves, as it reverberated through a community. And so it is today
Pray for your leaders of your house (your husband, dad, etc), your leaders at work, your leaders of your church, their families, and others within your circle of influence. In the power of Jesus’ name may the enemy be kept at bay and may his fiery darts 🎯be extinguished and sizzle away. Than you Lord that You make all things new, nothing is a surprise to You, You are the Blessed Controller! .
