Não ter controle sobre todas as coisas é um dos meus maiores desafios. É bom aprender a deixar o Universo nos guiar. Muitas vezes não chegamos onde queremos, outras vezes, caminhos que não escolhemos nos levam a muito mais. Pratique #yoga
Segundas e quartas no @cardumecoworking
Don't control everything it's a challenge for me. It's a good thing to let the Universe guide us sometimes. We won't get where we want sometimes, but we'll get even further other times. Came to yoga!
Feeling more and more humbled by teaching lately. Yesterday I taught my biggest crowd yet and holy moly it was 3 times bigger than what I am used to. I went to teach and was not expecting this many students to join the fun. 27 people showed up with the intent of practicing yoga and to spend time with friends and to meet new people. This class had beginners and people who also practice regularly. It is such a blessing when people come together and share such a common space because it becomes so much more than just a room...It becomes a place of comfort, community, non-judgement, love and compassion for yourself and others around you! Soooo humbled and so very grateful. 💫✨🌙Namaste 🙏

have you seen any creature
more in flow?
jellyfish can’t actually move on their own.
they have to rely on wind to move them in
they are relying solely on Mother Nature to guide them.
they are the symbol of love.
makes sense right?
you can only be in flow
if you drop fear and you drop
fear by connecting to the
vibration of love.
why is this connection so important?
in the presence of love, all insecurities fall away.
judgement, blame, fear, ego, perfectionism, labels, expectations, shame and more.
you can’t be in flow and also be connected to these lower vibrations.
you have to drop attachments to any outcome to be able to let Mother Nature guide you where you’re meant to be.
it’s not easy in the world we live in today.
we judge absolutely every aspect of someone.
this results in us feeling the need to change what aligns with our Spirit to what aligns with societal norms.
do you think a jellyfish judges it’s neighbors for how they’re swimming that day or any day?
no, because they are in flow.
they are connected to spirit.
to Mother Nature.
to their intuition.
they trust that they will be guided to where they’re meant to be on their paths.
regardless of any hardships they do or do not come across.
one is not stronger because he swam faster.
they symbolize love, balance, faith and more.
what can the jellyfish teach you about life?
how can you bring more flow into your life?

Gayatri Mantra 🌸
The Gayatri Mantra is the ancient beautiful prayer to the Supreme God, the divine essence of our life existence. It’s the prayer that always comes into thought and makes the strings of my heart vibrate. It’s the mantra that cleanses and soothes my soul, the one that purifies my mind of all debris.
On the path of righteous wisdom and intellect, may the Gayatri Mantra continue to light the way... 🙏
“OM BHUR BHUVAHA SWAHA,
TAT SAVITUR VARENYAM
BHARGO DEVASYA DHEEMAHI
DHIYO YONAHA PRACHODAYAT”
I opened MINDBODY to try and discover a Savannah Yoga studio but was reminded how much I miss @toughloveyoga 😢
I came home to Decatur last weekend but didn’t have a minute to spare for yoga 😩 but I know when I discover a Savannah studio I plan to dedicate my practice to the amazing studio that welcomed me, my body shape, and encouraged me to leave it all on my mat. 💕
Miss you Tough Love Yoga!! I’ll be back soon 😘

The things we’re missing becoming so important for us, and withdraw our attention from other things; and those others become insignificant.
And we’re walking around the world like blind persons.
But as soon as we get what we were after, we’re focusing on what’s missing again.
Let us see the incredibly important universe around, within and further where is no inside and no outside.
Outfit by @vayumudra
My pose choice for day 7 is downward facing dog. Julio decided to join me for this one 🐶. You’ll probably see this pose often in yoga classes because it benefits your whole body. It stretches all the major muscles on the back side of your body and builds strength in your upper and lower body. It’s essentially meant to be a resting posture, but if you’re like me it may take a while before it feels that way!
1️⃣Select any pose from the list each day, and post a picture of yourself in the pose
2️⃣Give a brief description of the pose you chose for the day and why you chose it
3️⃣Tag @Cycleelan and use the hashtags #cycleelan and #yogaelan in each post
In my facebook group, Your Yoga LIfe (link in the bio) we are talking about Self-Study, or the Yoga Niyama #Svadhyaya . So today I ask you what book/article/TED talk resonates with you right now?
It's so important to continue to learn and grow. When we give up our desire to improve, we give our chance to be the best version of ourselves. Reading, writing, taking classes, watching lectures, listening to podcasts, all of these aids us in our transformation.
Right now, I am reading "Meditations from the Mat" (again) from Rolf Gates as well as "Light Is the New Black" by Rebecca Campbell. I also feed my soul with podcasts such as Super Soul, Adulting with Ebonie, and the Priestess Podcast. (I know, I am WAY more woo than I let on. LOL) I also listen to My Favorite Murder, because sometimes you need something light, like true crime,
So what are you consuming right now that lights you up? What do you recommend to me to read/listen to/watch?
By weaving together modern science and Tantra Yoga teachings, you will learn to expand your heart, move forward on your path of self-discovery, and feel a spiritual connection in your daily life.
Join @mariaborghoff for the Divine Science Yoga Immersion Workshop on August 25-26 at @puremotionyoga_atl. The weekend will also be an introduction to our 200-hour & 300-hour trainings. Sign up now and don’t miss this incredible opportunity! Link in bio ✨
This weeks #toetaptuesday is a play with the negative press propped up on a yoga wheel (or up against a bolster). If you can’t lift your feet by pushing into the prop, kick up and work on lowering your legs as slowly as possible to the floor. This demands that your hips move further back over head and shoulders to keep the weight balanced as you come down. You can see this in the video when you swipe left.
Sometimes easier said than done when upside down. If your thighs burn too much to tap your wrists, come down half way and try to lift back up a few times until you’re ready to tap toes to wrists to build the strength of core, shoulders and thighs to compress into a tight enough shape to complete unsupported... one day.

physical wellness and splits
Physical wellness includes sleep, healthy food, physical health, hygiene and relaxation. Keeping a balance in these five keys is what will optimise your health and life. Personally I think I have decent sleep and food habits. Very food hygiene and relaxation habits. And a very poor physical health routine. I lack the motivation to do yoga let alone work out...
So excited to announce this new challenge... #yogaforwellnesschallenge !!😊 This challenge will focus on 6 of the 8 dimensions of wellness. There’s much more to health than the physical body and the 8 dimensions of wellness are categories that try to help us think about all those different aspects🌺 We would love to have you join us for the 6 day journey (August 18th - 23th) to better health!!
