Life is a constant change.. one day you feel on top of the world, like you have it all figured out and the next day, maybe not so much. But hey, this is life. ✨
When times are tough or when I feel out of balance, I breathe in and I quietly say to myself “I calm my body” and as I breathe out “I smile”. This short, simple meditation calms me all the time and I can’t help but smile at the end.✨
So next time you are feeling out of sorts, try this and see what happens. I’d love to know if it works for you as it does for me!✨
I hear this all the time from people— “ I can’t do yoga, I’m not flexible!” Well neither was I when I first started. That is why you begin yoga —to become flexible and strong in both body and mind !! #agegracefully#practiceyoga#becalm#getstrong
In this moment
I had no idea
my life would be
in the following weeks
Our biggest worry here
was trying not to
get hit by a car
Running in and out
of the street
ear to ear
back to reality
two very rambunctious
Trying to keep
our shit together
Trying to figure out
what comes next
This this a whole
new kind of excitement
Feeling like the first time I found yoga today 💕 I woke up and felt so inspired that I went to my backyard, cleared my mind and just started flowing. Just being present and grateful made such a difference in my morning, I’m filled with love and ready for everything that is to come. How about you?? Wearing @aloyoga’s holiday collection, that just launched today!
Joanne first came to the studio with double frozen shoulders and chronic knee issues that prevented her from enjoying group yoga classes. Now she is involved in a serious love connection with yoga and her self.
Here’s what she has to say:
“I hit rock bottom when I couldn’t take off a shirt, dry my hair, put on a jacket or dry off after a shower. It was then I was diagnosed with frozen shoulder. I [also] have arthritis in my knees (and one replacement) and have limited options for exercise.
Private yoga lessons have really given me a fresh look at yoga. After the first session, being able to take away the chair and work directly on the floor was fantastic. Sue was able to give me the guidance I needed to perform the moves in a way that would not cause stress on my knees. I noticed dramatic improvement after only a few sessions of massage therapy. Exercises I was given to do at home not only helped my frozen shoulder, but they also help me relax under times of stress. And now, a few months later, I am practically pain free and can do all the things I previously could not.
As an added bonus from yoga [and massage therapy] I am more aware of what my body is trying to tell me, especially under stressful situations. I can tell when I’m tensing up and now have the mindfulness to take time to stretch and breathe.” #peopleofyukato#beautiful#strong#transformation#yukatoyoga#yoga#yogateacher#yogapractice#practiceyoga#practicedaily#yogaflow#lehighvalley#pennsylvania#bethlehempa#igbethlehem#yogawithstyle#yogawithfriends#namaste#namasteallday#massagetherapy
It’s been a while since we first started on social media and as we look forward to this new chapter, we are so excited to see how our community has grown. We are truly in awe of all the support we have gotten over our big news and all we can say is a big THANK YOU to everyone for being so supportive and excited for what is to come. One of the biggest reasons behind our @bryceyogaschool is to focus on you and of course, yoga. So we’ve been hard at work creating NEW content. Are you excited? Because we definitely are!! #yogisofinstagram#practiceyoga#yogainspiration#yogateacher#bigchanges

Just imagine that your dreams were possible.
I mean any scientific discovery or business idea - it all began with just an idea.
What if your dream could happen.
Ask yourself: What if I could be a (enter the job of your desire for example) and then hold space for the possibility.
How does it feel like?
Think about a person that did it. If they did it maybe I could do it, too? How did they get there? Is there something they went through you could learn about?
Your dream or idea is like a plant.
Plant the seed and water it. Little by little.
Think about it more. Just try. Imagine yourself already having it. Feel the gratitude.
Have a little more faith in it.
The more attention you give something the more real it becomes.
Do you want to give attention to your dreams or do you want to give attention to your fears?
It’s up to you.
We just need to choose to give attention to our dreams.
And it grows and grows and grows.

Day 8 of #spotyourdrishti with the focus towards the toes! Am I the only one that always thinks I am deeper in the pose than I really am?? 💙
I am a big believer in what we put out into the universe boomrranges right back to us.
What we focus on persists.
What we set intention to is what flows.
What we put into our orbit is important.
If you feel unsatisfied, it is time to shift your focus. Adjust your thoughts. Start feeling how you want to feel. Start treating your body how you want it to treat you.
You are beautiful inside and out. Believe it.
What is an intention?
Sometimes in our yoga practice, we may hear the teacher asking us to “set an intention” for the practice. But what is an intention? And what does it actually mean? How does it work? And why do we do it?
When we intend to do something, we make a decision in our minds to carry out actions that aim to achieve a particular end result. In short, it creates for us a purpose given practice.
During a yoga class, much like the breath, we use intentions to keep us focused and centred within our practice. Any time we find our minds wandering, getting lost in thoughts – or perhaps whenever we feel that we are pushing ourselves too hard, or not stepping passed our comfort zones enough, is the moment we return back to our intention. Re-set, focus back on that internal state and begin again.
Setting an intention is not only useful for our yoga practice, but useful for moving throughout our day. Every morning when we wake up, we have the choice to set an intention for our day: an actively chosen mental state to guide our actions in order to create a particular desired outcome. When we move through our day with a predetermined intention, we are less likely to be affected by external circumstances: bad weather, traffic, irritable bosses, long queues, lots of work etc, because our day is governed by an internal source, our mental state, which is something we can always return to, no matter what.
Intentions that add value/benefit/inspiration to our lives or the lives of those around us, are often the easiest to take off the mat. Examples of these being – + Moving with kindness and compassion
+ Letting go of negative thought patterns
+ Breaking through fear and embracing challenges
+ Allowing more love in
+ Being open
+ Adopting a sense of trust
+ Releasing anything that no longer serves you
+ Accepting where we are right now
An intention is something that comes from within, so before setting one spend a few quiet moments asking yourself what is it that you really need at this present moment. .
Here we go with the fourth day of

Just a fun little reminder from four-year-old me that no matter who you are or where you are, you’re already enough. ✨
One of the major lies we’re fed in adulthood is that in order to have worth, we need to have it all, do it all, be it all. With all this looking outside, it’s so easy to forget that we had it all to begin with. ✨
Yoga is learning to return to that place of inner wholeness; astrology guides your pathway there through time. ✨
