So the other day you saw me post about my usual breakfast lately. I figured I’d go over a little bit of some benefits associated with pineapple!
Vitamin C, beta-carotene,
bromelain, vitamin A :
All of these have been shown to aid in fighting free radicals that build up in our system over time and help reduce the risk of cancer.
Bromelain as well has been shown to help reduce, swelling, bruising and discomfort associated with primarily joints dealing with arthritis. I have been back to mostly raw foods again and just doing some PiYo today I could tell my body just loves raw foods so much better. As a lot of you know I haven’t worked out consistently for a long time. Probably actually since we moved to our house almost 4 years ago. That’s when we had our gym in our shed and we could have our own space. It’s been a struggle trying to find my self again where I was at mentally and physically. There’s been a lot of ups and downs with my health too. Rashes that keep coming, allergies, things that I know I can prevent or at least help my body fight off easier when I do eat right and exercise. I know I can do better. I have done multiple 5ks, 10ks and 8 half marathons. I have completed a 16 mile run before. There are things that I have done that I know I can do again. It makes me a better person. I have said before I have wanted to do a triathlon and a full marathon. I need to get these goals in mind again so I can do the things I want to. Never sell yourself short of things you know you can do.

SUMMER FRUIT BOWL 😋 (that Ellie and I shared)
This morning I saw a post from last year (thanks to Facebook!) 😉 and it inspired me!
You can call it a fruit bowl, a smoothie bowl or a raw “cereal bowl”... 😋
I basically chopped:
3 peaches 🍑
2 apricots, and
1 cup + cherry halves 🍒
And I poured my sauce on top, or you can call it smoothie or ever fruit mylk if you prefer 😂
And it was made with frozen raspberries, frozen mangoes and coconut water 💦
I’m determined to post every-single-day in July because I’m challenging myself to eat only fruit 🍉
AND I’m also taking #medicalmedium ‘s July Berry Challenge 🍓
He’s so right, we could really benefit from eating berries every single day! Berries are like the ultimate healing and rebuilding foods 🙌
I would usually save all the berries for my daughter 🙈 but you know what? By making myself a priority, I can actually be a better mom 💁♀️😆
