Queria muito ter alcançado isso ano passado... infelizmente não deu. Desistir? Evidente que não! Não alcançar um objetivo significa nada mais, nada menos que você não estava preparado para aquilo e que você precisa de melhores condições para "chegar lá", simples assim! Isso vale não apenas para o treino, isso é aprendizado pra vida.

Quase um ano depois, eu consegui, e estou tão feliz quanto estaria se tivesse conseguido ano passado.

PR de 100kg, de um Clean bem mais bonito que o clean de um ano atrás. Um grito que é a mistura de alegria/desabafo/agradecimento e o sorriso no rosto de quem sabe o valor da entrega diária, do esforço nos treinos e da boa orientação.

We typically assume only athletes can use box jumps. While it is true that athletes benefit due to training the fast twitch muscles, everyone can benefit. .

Box jumps will potentiate your nervous system (main control panel) to fire at a much faster rate than other movements. When the nervous system improves efficiently, you’ll be able to improve strength which in turn increases work load. Work load=muscle building. .

For all those calorie counters, box jumps completed at a high intensity will burn 800-1000 calories an hour compared to 200-300 calories from walking. .

The second jump was my best so far from a vertical standpoint. I was able to barely sneak over the 3 1/2 foot mark. Throwing these into my program is really working on my other moves such as cleans, front squats, and even shoulder press. .

Back story, hopefully becky doesn’t mind me telling it: once she learned to move her feet in the clean, she was jumping too high, and didn’t really understand the queues to jump fast or jump hard but not high. So she started watching videos, slow motion videos. Then commented she got it, so today we had a clean complex and she was moving really well. So at the end of the complex sets, it was ‘surprise, let’s see what you’ve got’ and she got big increases in both lifts. One technique change can have a great impact. Congrats Becky! **************

En plus des courbatures et d’une légère douleur dans le cou, il m’aura laissé quelques bleus ....
Le coach il a dit de garder la barre au plus près du corps .... les tibias ont morflés, les genoux aussi et heureusement que j’ai de petits seins sinon ils y passaient aussi 😜
Et comme si ça suffisait pas, on se finit au burpees pour un tabata :
20’’ intenses, 10’’ de recup, 8 tours 🤮
Mais on aime tellement ça, qu’on recommence .... maso ? Ouais !!!!

Today’s strength session 💪 got a 35kg which isn’t heavy but I’m naturally a weakling and my shoulder is now finally in a place where I can start building up again 😊 I did get a 37.5kg powerclean but failed the squat clean 🤷‍♀️ I will get there. 40kg I’m coming for ya!

Eran pocas reps así que teníamos que hacerlo pesado para que rindiera 💪🏻

En la parte central hicimos 3 RM x 3 de clean e hice con 47kg 😱
En todas las vueltas tuve alguna no rep porque estaba al límite pero logré hacer las 9 repeticiones!

A) 2 Power Clean + 1 Hang Power Clean + 5 Front squat + 50 saltos cuerda

B) 2 Power Clean + 1 Hang Power Clean + 5 Front squat + 10 K2E (abdominales colgados)

El segundo WOD fue sin peso combinando saltos cuerda y abdominales a completar:
