Guuuuuten Morgen ihr Lieben 😍 Endlich *URLAUB* ich kann es noch gar nicht glauben 😅 es stehen unwahrscheinlich schöne 3 Wochen an und es seeeehr viel geplant ☺️🤩💥 Gerade fahren wir zu unserem ersten Stop nach Österreich und morgen geht's dann ab in die Sonne 😎🌞 ich wollte euch aber noch den leckeren Frühstückskuchen nach einem Rezept von der tollen und herzlich verrückten @noreen_food_fitness zeigen 😍 so schnell am Abend vorbereitet und sooooo mega lecker! Der Boden besteht aus Schmelzflocken, Vanille-Whey, Eiklar, Backpulver, etwas Wasser und Flav'n Tasty in Vanilla Cookies von @esncom. Die Füllung aus Magerquark und nochmals Flav'n Tasty, dann noch getoppt mit Erdbeeren ☺️🍓 und ab in den Ofen! This morning I dragged myself out of bed, my throat hurt, and trekking to and from the gym to get my sweat on was the last thing I wanted to do. Instead, I brewed some tea, went outside, took in some fresh air, and spent the first hour of my day reading and catching up on blog posts 📚. • Do I feel guilty? Honestly, slightly. My workouts haven't been great lately; I've been feeling lethargic, and I feel like I've hit a bit of a wall. But, taking it slow this morning did more for my health than dragging myself to the gym would have. Understanding the importance of rest and to stop putting so much pressure on myself is something I'm working on ✅ Instagram makes it easy to compare ourselves and our routines to that of other people, but there's no one size fits all approach when it comes to living a healthy lifestyle, be it mentally or physically. I realise this is a long ramble lol,  I wrote half of this at 3am, half asleep while my thoughts were swimming around my head at 1000mph 🤷 BUT brain-dump aside, here's a shot of another messy stack of pancakes I made during the week 🥞 Same recipe, but this time added chocolate protein and cocoa powder to satisfy them chocolate cravings 🍫
I worked out pretty hard today (check my stories if you feel like it), so I decided to treat myself to an awesome breakfast for a midnight snack. 2 brown eggs, some feta, nova lox, and guacamole plus a slice of lower carb bread that is super heavy on the nuts and seeds with a lil huckleberry jam. I cooked the eggs in ghee and this is just a gorgeous high protein meal. Anyways, have an amazing weekend y’all. Keep grinding and pushing.
