Made-To-Order mixed and repeat image quartets of Stick No Bills’ Ceylon and Iberia-centric designs are increasingly in demand now that we have mastered packaging and shipping of these limited editions, both unframed and framed, the latter with or without museum standard or regular glass.
The image featured here is Ceylon, Mount Lavinia Beach, 1948 by C.K.L. Samarasinha. This was one of Samarasinha’s two winning designs in the island-wide travel poster design contest of 1948, the year Ceylon gained independence from the British Empire. On our website you can read the crazed love story that inspired both this artwork and the naming of Colombo’s most gentrified southern coastal suburb.
We are forever grateful to all the U.K. and Sri Lanka-based IP lawyers who helped us secure exclusive copyright on this image in perpetuity.
