Back at it!
Felt so good flexing my meditation muscle again. It wasn't the deepest sit I've had in my life but through the lessons of Vipassana I've learned to accept each sit exactly as it is. There's a certain power in letting each one Be without trying to force them into a preset desired experience.
I've meditated off and on for years but consistency has always been lacking. I can't imagine a more full power meditation sequence to get me back in the game. I'd say I'm 50% stoked 50% scared shitless of the amount of discipline it's going to take to manage it all while managing three projects a family and a new baby #truth . I knew full well this ride wasn't going to be an easy one. The fuel of motivation comes from knowing Brian 2.0 patiently awaits on the other side.
The Buddha said, "Every morning we are born again. What we do today is what matters most." Not sure what's in store for tomorrow, but at least I can go to bed tonight knowing that I rocked 'this'. #bringit
So very well written by the talented @arabelsnaturals. Thought I share on my page for anyone else who needs it ❤️❤️❤️ #Repost
I know many times some of us are frustrated, and feel like giving up, but I am here to say “ Don’t Quit, and Never Give Up”. Starting a small business takes a lot of work, time, patience, and $$$. But trust me, the harder you work, the more successful you will be. .
Here’s a little advice for those who feel discouraged at times:
1. Don’t give up, if you really want it you have to work hard at it.
2. Don’t worry about your competitors, or others who seem more successful than you are. Trust me, some businesses may not be doing as well as you think, and for those who are successful they worked hard to be where they are. Most importantly, they didn’t “ Quit” .
3. Stop worrying about the likes and followers on other accounts. Likes and followers means nothing. It doesn’t matter if you have 500K followers or likes on IG. .
4. We all had our fair share of times when we felt like giving up. It happens to all of us. Just think of it as, climbing a never ending ladder. You start from the bottom, and you work your way to the top. You may not know what’s on top, but your willing to find out with enough hard work and dedication. .
5. Patience is the key to success. The super successful people (in any field) push through the difficult work, and do it for 10-plus years. Meaning these excellent successful businesses have the patience to get better each day, week, year, and decade. They wouldn’t achieve their success if they were too impatient to practice their craft.
Believe me, we all been there. We all made mistakes along the way. The only solution is to keep going. .
DON’T QUIT! .

We’re a funny generation. With development, and increased comfort and luxuries, many of us have been told over and over when growing up that we could be anything and anyone we wanted; the possibilities were endless.
But that’s simply not reality.
Not being able to do everything, we’ve found ourselves having to make choices that define our life and the path we want to walk on. And by making these choices we “eradicate” all the other possibilities (or so we think), thus creating anxiety related to making the wrong choice, or fear of missing out.
This constant fear blocks us. Over and over, we see people around us get stuck because of their own insecurities, doubts, comparisons, fear of failure, and the ever present urge to achieve and move forward.
I am one of them. Not a day goes by where I don’t worry for my future career, life goals, financial responsibilities and/or general sense of purpose. But since a couple of years, I also try to consciously let go of this need for all encompassing control, and focus on finding joy in the path I walk and the moment I am in (sometimes less successfully than I’d like of course).
We decided to travel the world and enjoy this experience to the fullest. And for now there is no need to hurry, stress or succeed in anything. So let’s enjoy the journey!
I decided this November was going to be different, I was going to start a sort of ritual that changes how I feel about a month filled with painful memories from horrible events.
This November is so much different. I'm having fun everyday. For some reason I'm in a festive mood a month too early. 🤣 My mindset towards November has changed. It is a good month 🎄🖤👢👑🍁
Stress is not only bad for you but it also has a bad reputation for being contagious. We never notice that it's not us who only suffers but we also hurt other while coping with stress. Stress is quite taxing for your brain, which ultimately affects our personal health as well. Combating stress with positive thoughts and developing a new way for a better life should be our ulterior motive in life. http://www.joellespractice.com
This is true although our Ego is not necessarily a bad thing......it tries to protect us from criticism or failing etc ......but it’s ok to follow your gut feeling your soul guidance and tell your Ego “thank you for protecting me but I got this” 🙏 💪🏻 Some thoughts for the weekend ahead 🤔

On Wednesday night, @daniellewillett and I decided to take on a ‘positive words only’ challenge to stop complaining or using negative language in general. No complaining about late trains or painful situations, people that might be annoying us or things we wish we could change. It’s been 2 days, a bit harder than I expected but I have never felt this upbeat about life in general 🙌🏼 the words we say have such a strong correlation to our mood and perspective on the world. Make the conscious change for positivity, it does make a difference 🙌🏼☀️
