1️⃣List daily. If you don’t have anything new to list try your own closet or relist some stale items. 2️⃣Sharing can definitely be tedious but it’s important for visibility. Three times a day… Early morning, mid day or early evening, and if possible the nighttime party
3️⃣This is probably pretty obvious but price your items a few dollars higher. You May have some takers at that price which is even better… But this allows you room to offer a bundle discount, Offer shipping discounts, closet clear out price drops as well as entertain offers. #poshmarktips#poshmark#poshmarkcloset#poshmarkseller
Aside from a few things that need to be hand washed 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️.. this is the last of the inventory I am currently sitting on. Since I have insomnia, I finished listing them on poshmark tonight. BUT, here is what I’ve learned: 1. I need a steamer. Luckily my mom has one so I’ll steal hers. 2. I need to invest in a light kit. Walmart.com here I come. 🤦🏻♀️ (I hate that place - but it’s the cheapest I’ve found) 3. I need a better place to take pictures - luckily I have a basement that I can use as my “office” - I just need to find the time and energy to get it all set up 4. I need an all white background and practice in photo editing. 5. I need better inventory.
This week I’ve listed about 15 items and have shared my closet a minimum of two times a day.. which is way more than I have been. But I’m not really seeing any results. So hopefully if I implement what I’ve learned above, it will start to pay off. #progressnotperfection
THIS is one of the reasons I love selling clothes. ————————————————————————- I accepted a 13$ offer on a men’s shirt that was listed at 19$. I didn’t want to accept at first, I was going to counter. My business partner, aka my husband, reminded me 1. That I had purchased the shirt for roughly a dollar and 2. That, in our experience, accepting an offer outright often leads to more sales. Reluctantly I accepted the offer and then I get these sweet messages. This gentleman reminded me of one of the reasons I do what I do. I love giving people a deal and making them happy. I can’t wait for him to receive his purchase and so hope he enjoys it’s it!! #venturesandvines

Welcome to my closet! I started selling my clothes that I didn’t wear anymore just to see what would happen. I didn’t really think things would sell. But I sold my first dress and I’ve been hooked ever since! I’ve been able to do so many things I love with Poshmark. I’m meeting new people, styling, wrapping and personalizing packages, and making money along the way! Take a look at my closet...I hope you find something you love! 🧡✨ Xo- Amie
Let’s talk growth...over the past two months I’ve been telling myself it’s time to grow. Time to expand my knowledge beyond thrifting and more importantly time to step out of my comfort zone. I’ve been reselling for nearly a year now and with consistent sales and a steady income each month I find it’s become easy to become complacent with what I have learned and all that I now know about thrifting. However, I know / we know that what we’re building is a future, a business and with that comes growth! Yesterday I finally stepped out determined to do some sourcing at a nearby outlet. I arrived ready to win and needless to say I walked away empty handed! Why? Because I allowed the fear of the unknown to win. Spending $30 at a Goodwill is easy but spending $30 on a single item is another story. Every doubt that could possibly surface did. Is it too much? Will it sell? Am I overpaying? Do I know enough? Can I do this? I Better not... that’s what I said to myself. I came home with a very few small safe purchases. Then 16 hours later I said NO I’m not gonna let doubt win. I took the 2 hour drive right back and sourced like I knew exactly what I was doing. I know fashion, I know ROI, I know retail arbitrage and I know what it takes to succeed. Yes, I know failure and I know doubt but I also know determination, commitment and the will to grow and succeed. Here’s to growth my friends! We’ll all have moments of doubt that will come and go but what we will always have is our will to succeed ❤️ if you want it go get it!
