Did you know that the persimmon is symbolic of joy?!
In China, this fruit is used to regulate one’s ch’i, or personal energy, and is a symbol of joy and enlightenment.
We’re big on celebrating joy here at Gather, and are big on this beautiful spread from a recent Gather event with the team at Art de Cuisine Catering!
Here’s to what ever brings you joy and gets your ch’i in check on this wintery Saturday!
At Babely, we like to take even our mimosa game to the next level. Thanks to @pressedjuicery for providing our ladies with the dopest, most delicious juice ever! **Thinking of incorporating tiny umbrellas next time bc life is too short, miniature things are adorable, and why the hell not??
In our new @torchestogetherpodcast series about self discovery, vision and alignment Johnny and I read our relationship visions to one another. .
I wanted to share each of ours in written form. Here’s mine:
Our relationship is an ecosystem where trust, intimacy, encouragement, challenge, curiosity, openness, fearlessness, faith, adoration, desire, comfort and deep love grow together.
It’s an ecosystem where we allow the death of old beliefs and stories in order to nourish our relationship at hand. We look at one another with fresh eyes every day, making room for however the other is growing and moving.
It is a river, constantly flowing, changing and nourishing the landscape around it through it’s movement.
We pursue that which lights us up, and in that, are able to light up one another.
The pursuit of our passions apart from one another nourishes our relationship with novelty and space for individuality.
We are open to change and new directions whenever the water feels stagnant.
We enhance our ability to communicate and problem solve through meditation and study.
This, among many things, is a form of love for one another.
We are always focused on creating a life that radiates love and light.
We dive into our darkness to mine the beauty and harness the power of transformation.
We show one another that we are desired and sought after.
Forever stimulating romance through curiosity about one another.
We rush like rivers, storm like oceans and hold peace like forests.
Endlessly fascinated by the gift of our souls journey together.
